decided to do lots of breakfasts and the earlier the better but we will be relying on the onsite transport

will they run early enough to make 7.30 /8am adrs ??

We never hire a car and we make early ADRs with no problems getting a bus.

They start running in plenty of time for people with breakfast plans.

Same as Starrysky - never hire a car and have done plenty 8.05 and even a 7.05 am ressie at Chef Mickeys (we were staying at ASMu at the time which is waaaaay on the other side of WDW resort) and we got there ridiculously early. They have buses that start around 6.15 am, specifically for those heading out for early ADR's. Be aware that these buses do not run as frequently as the 'regular' buses will from around an hour before park opening so keep that in mind when leaving yourself a time contingency in case you miss one. We usually aim to arrive stupidly early and enjoy the resort/get early access to the park.

The only snag we've had were with a couple of reservations for the Poly or Grand Floridian, when the monorail broke down and we were about 40 minutes late for one of them :rolleyes1 We went right to the podium, I gave my name and apologized for the lateness and mentioned that the monorial had broken down and the CM simply smiled and said "This stuff happens" and seated us right away. Go ahead and snag those early ones - they allow you to enjoy the rest of the day without interruptions and you are perfectly placed to get the most out of the early hours after park opening :thumbsup2

thats brilliant news

i know breakfast is not the best value use of a table credit but i have decided we want to do early morning buffet character breakfasts. my kids NEED breakfast i think they will be grumpy and moaning if i do it any other way , i also know that if they have a good buffet breakfast and eat plenty it will get us through most of the day til 3/4 pm

Actually to us it always was the best value - because my park time is worth more than $10 a head for food that is eaten and 'gone' once you leave the restaurant. If it keeps the family happy and doesn't interrupt the day, there's pretty good value in there. Don't get too hung up on the value of your meals. It's only a consideration if you are paying for the DDP, not if you got free dining. Unless you book through Disney.com (US site) where free dining means you pay rack rate (a lot more!) for your room. :goodvibes

i paid £252 to upgrade from quick to ddp for all 5 of us . and as somebody else said then if the kids see characters at breakfast we will have less to find in park time :thumbsup2

We use breakfast to fill us up for most of the day saves having to stop for lunch as we normally grab a snack on the go.

We have done tusker house and crystal palace just the two of us and it's been great all the kids we have seen loved it. Plus it ticks off a fair few characters easily with out standing in lines.

I agree with 2tigges that early empty park time is worth it

Thanks for asking this! We've also got a few early breakfasts lined up, but it didn't even cross my mind to check how early the buses would be running before the parks opened!

We've also got an ADR for Tusker House! Have heard good things!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! :cool1:

Rusher house and crystal palace are fab! We did a crystal palace brekkie before magic kingdom opened last time and it was fab as the park is deserted and you can get great photos with just your group a d the castle! :-)

My favourite photos from or trips are the ones I have taken before our crystal palace ADR.

Tusker! Stupid autocorrect!

:lmao: That made me laugh! Funny, I knew what you meant and didn't think anything of it when I read your previous post. I think nowdays, most folk are pretty good at keeping our brains in auto recovery/edit mode when reading anything. :)
