Disney Transfers at MCO

I know this has been covered before but on the avareage how long does it take to get from MCO to Disney if you book the transfers thru WDW? Is it a bus? Not a van?

I see a lot of people here use towncars and I am looking into this but I hate to pay more $$$. But we are getting in at 9am and I am planning on spening that first day in the park ASAP...

If you booked the tranfer via Disney I am like 99.9% sure you will be on the Mears shuttle.
You may get lucky and leave the airport right away. Then again it can sometimes take a very long time for them to....1) decide which van or bus to put you on 2)wait for another plane to land 3) they ususally stop at numerous hotels along the way and you might be last

We only took them on our first family trip and have never (and will never) put up with them again!

I hope for your sakes that it takes no more than an hour.....but be prepared just in case. There is no way of knowing ahead of time how long your trip will be. With a town car waiting for you the trip is 30 minutes tops.

Actually, if you have four people a town car can work out to be less than the Mears Shuttle.

I agree with the other posters that the Mears shuttle is much less efficient. We've waited 30 minutes or more just to be assigned to a bus, then waited on the bus while they loaded luggage and filled it up, then had them make 2-3 stops before they got to our resort. It's not always that bad, but you just can't predict.

You also need to consider that Mears will sometimes require that you be picked up to go back to MCO 4-6 hours before your flight time. With a town car, you can cut that time to 2-3 hours, depending on your tolerance for risk.
