Looking for info on a tour guide to convince my dh to splurge.

1) max is 10? Does that include under three? Group would be 8 adults, 2 kids (7 and 6) and an almost 2 year old; small possibility could be one more adult who is blind with seeing eye dog but he has declined and is very unlikely to go

2) min is 6 hours but found conflicting info on hourly cost $175 VS $300 an hour

Trip is for June 2016
, another relative is paying for trip for everyone but thinks we can do Disney in 3 days (deluxe rooms, airfare, park tickets, and likely food)(by my math paying for tour guide cheaper than offering to pay all that for everyone for extra day)
I want to gift everyone the tour guide and would use tour guide for one day in magic kingdom

All but one adult have been prior but most the last trip was 1996; my last trip was last year and magic kingdom was insane

Anyone have reasons I can use to help convince dh?

(And if we decide yes we could afford it, but its still a lot of money)

A Disney VIP tour costs between $360-500, depending on the season. The under three will count -- from Disney's website:

Please be aware that all party members—including infants—count toward the total number of Guests in your group.

As MermaidMommy said, the infant does count, so you would have to have 2 guides. You're looking at a minimum of $4600. That's a heck of a splurge.

3 days is not enough time. You could end up rushing around and not accomplishing much with a group that large.
