Does anyone have any more info on this (from the press release on allearsnet.com)

Timeless attractions, special kid's menus, character dining, children's programs, length-of-stay stroller rental at the theme parks, plus kiddie pools, play areas and in-room babysitting at Disney resort hotels were all created with young guests in mind.

It's nothing new. They already offer this, it's packaged as "Kid's Nite Out", I've copied what the Disney site has to say about it. I found it here: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/moreMagic/otherRecDetail?id=OtherRecKidsProgramsDetailPage

I chose not to use Kids Nite Out because I just didn't feel comfortable with the possibility of a male coming to watch my two girls and one small boy. That's just my opinion. I feel better when it's a woman - can't help it.

We used Fairy Godmothers. It's a group of moms and grandmothers. We had a super sweet grandmother come to our room on two different nights. She was wonderful. Took them to get food (we gave her our card so she could just charge it to our room - also told her to please get something to eat for herself, but she said she already ate, but thanks anyway), took them around the hotel for a walk, gave the two little ones a bath and had one of them in bed and sleeping by the time we returned.

We were worried that because she was older that she might have a hard time with my then evil 2 year old, (he's still quite evil at 3, but just saying he was 2 at the time!) but she said she's seen his type before and it wouldn't be a problem!

We're going back on the 6th and I'll be calling today or tomorrow to make some reservations for some Fairy Godmothers this trip too!

If you need the number I'd be happy to look it up for you - I used her card on a scrapbook page!

Here's a link to the page if you want to see how happy we were with Vivian!

I thought the same as lillygator - that this was a new, disney-sponsored program :-(

How much does babysitting cost??? DH and I will celebrate our 6 yr wedding anniversary during our trip and it would be GREAT to get a night out without the kids (ages 4 and 1). I will have to check out the link...

TIA!

I'm pretty sure it cost me $68 for four hours...$14 per hour, $12 travel fee, 4 hour minimum.

We are using Kids Nite Out for our trip at the end of May. They are the Disney recommended company. I was also concerned about a Male babysitting our DD's (5 and 3,) but I was asked by the reservationist if it mattered. When I told her we preferred it be a female she said that wouldn't be a problem.
