Disney Tickets

Has anybody purchased park hopper tickets on Ebay? We were looking for 2 day park hopper. We are staying for 5 days, but wanted to use our funds for universal and Sea World too. Since Disney only sells 4 day hopper, or one day one park, I tried ebay. Was surprised that I could actually get 2 day hopper. Received NEW 2 day hopper in the mail in about a week. Was really happy to be able to have this option. We didn't want to spend on a 4 day hopper and save for later. Wanted the money in our pocket rather than Disneys. Who thinks Disney should have shorter duration park hoppers?

What you got is a two day PH that is usually sold through conventions. It has an expiration date (most likely 12/31/04) so unused admissions will be lost after that date.

And there's no way to tell by looking at the ticket whether it's been used or not, even if it's in pristine condition and is dated as having been ptinted two weeks ago. Many of the sellers of these on Ebay are okay but there are a few that aren't.

Who thinks Disney should have shorter duration park hoppers?

Obviously not Disney. They are well aware that if you have to buy a longer ticket that somewhere along the line you will decide to come back to use up that ticket.

Just a note of caution.....someone this week posted that they purchased Disney tickets via E-bay and never received them.
The seller disappeared from the site and this person probably lost his/her money. This happened even though the seller had great marks. Wonder if they can be manipulated?
Also, others pointed out that there is no way of knowing if there are any days left on a ticket by looking at it. You may very well receive the tickets and find out at the park entrance that they are no good.

I haven't used mine but I did order the 2 day park hopper from Ebay. I received them in a hurry via priority mail even though I don't need them until Sept. I read at least 100 feedback for him/her saying the tickets that they received worked well before I would buy from him/her.

Can we post sellers on this forum? Is there a rule about that?

On a side note, the two day tickets that I have include either PI or DQ (another thing that you can't get from a regular Park Hopper). On Park Hoppers that include extras such as water parks or PI can the extra be used on a day other than the two days that you use for park hopping?
I know these tickets are little different but normally how is that handled?

As I said above, you have a 2 day PHP that is normally sold by conventions. That's why the plus option includes PI/DQ and not the water parks. Most convention goers have no time to go to a water park but they do have the opportunity to visit PI/DQ.

That ticket works exactly the same as a regular PHP. You can use the admissions in any way you like on any days that you like but there is one difference. These tickets have an expiration date where regular ones do not.
