I knew I should have bought our tickets before the price increase, but I just didn't have the cash to tie up. Now our deal has gone up slightly but changed too, and I am not sure it is still worth doing.
When I started planning my trip for 2016 I thought we would be going at Easter so park hoppers were a must. Company offered 7 day hoppers for $358 for adults (3 traveling) and $339 for kids. Now it's not a voucher ticket but some PDF E ticket that comes in 3 days after ordering and expires in one year and one day. Magic bands will have to be purchased. Not sure if this would still be true if I did a room only booking with Disney? The brochure says that the E ticket comes with the numbers attached to use MDE for FP+ and such. The tickets MUST be picked up at will call at one of the 4 wdw parks ONLY.
Today tickets through Disney for 7 days are 424.94/403.64 for hopper and 356.78/335.48 base. I can get 7 day hoppers through work for 371/352.
My thoughts are that for the small savings in hoppers, which I might no longer need, I might have to go through some sort of MDE meltdown with Disney booked rooms and e tickets and all that. The hassle of going to will call on the first park day also stinks. Anyone have any thoughts?
