Disney GuessWords game

We just picked up this game at a thrift shop for $2.99 :cool1:

All the pieces were in there (didn't know if they were at the time of buying, we took the risk for such a cheap price)!!
It's a super fun game - our son (nearly 5 years) could even play it!
I think it might be a pretty fun road trip game too -- you don't necessarily have to play with the board, could just keep a tally of correct answers :)

How you found anything Disney cool lately?

A long time ago my DM though I would like a tobaggon type toy. Where the rolling pieces go up a ladder then down a shoot. Usually I've seen this toy with penquins but my DM found my one with Disney characters.

Not at the thrift store, but last year we got the Disney version of Apples to Apples. We all love that one and the cards have Disney pictures on them. :thumbsup2

Last week I found an adorable Disney Couture Baby tee shirt for my daughter. It has Minnie on it, and says, "Best Personality." True of my DD! A steal at $1.49!

I did not know that Disney had a thrift store. I like that idea. ;) :)

I forgot, I found the Mickey head California Interstate 5 sign in a thirft store, looking brand new as if I had bought it at the parks, but paid a fraction of the price.

I found a set of the Disney cups that McDonalds used to give out. <3

I've been thinking I need a new set of glasses as mine had broken apart over the years. I'd like something that matches. But now am thinking some odd Disney cups may be better.

Heck- I go to thrift store just to find Disney things! :lmao: I have lots of old vintage toys that I have picked up, a vintage Mickey Mouse radio, games, books, and I always check the jewelry cases for pins....... I love thrift store Disney finds! :hippie:

BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS - we have them all!
If they are Disney we buy them... we must have 4 copies of Prince and the Pauper LOL :rotfl: I know we have several of the GIANT Sleeping Beauty books... we just love them (over and over and over)

We hit the thrift store about 2 times a month just to check out books! We get lucky sometimes and find the other cool Disney items :cloud9:

Ponchos! I have a whole set of the Yellow ones, at 99 cents each!
But my :lovestruc find was the jack Skellington hoodie that they sell in the park for $45... $3.99! Unforunately, DS is growing out of it and he wants a new one! :scared1: We had to stop to potty on the way to DL once, and there is a goodwill in Norwalk right off of the find- that is where we found the Jack Skellington hoodie, plus a snow white costume for DD. If we had time, we probably would have dug up more Disney stuff!

WOW! 3.99 for that Hoodie is a STEAL!!! :thumbsup2 Great find!!
I am heading back to the thrift shop in about a week to see what else we can find :lovestruc
Today we hit an antique shop local to us and saw a few Disney bits, but nothing stood out too much for me except a Mickey phone... but I know it's a 1993 or so model and they were selling for $55.... kinda too rich for me now that our trip is so soon.... What do you guys think, a good buy??

I find that in lots of thrift shops typical disney collactables, like old toys, watches, art, and yes the famous phones are way over priced. Sure there are valuable ones, but not every one is worth a lot.

I found a "Year of A Million Dreams" Mickey ears hat at a thrift store in Ventura for $0.99! They were brand new!

I never thought to look for pins. Great idea!
