Ok, this is going to be a weird thread for me.
All my friends and peers at my daughter's school know I'm a Disney nut, after all my license plate says "DIZNEY". We have been 10 times and are planning our 11th stay. When they are planning their visits they start to ask me questions. Well, I try to help and try to help them save money. I don't know if it is that they are too afraid to ask for things or just are the type of people that just take the first price they are told and run with it. I try to explain to them that I have done and always do research on prices, discounts and other options for things. I try to tell them about things that we have found that works and we very TRUTHFULLY tell them how much we spend on our vacations. It just seems that the second they hear "On the Monorail" or "The Grand Floridian" or "The Polynesian", they just instantly act like I am crazy. They try to tell me that I didn't stay there or that I didn't pay that price. Does anyone else run into this? I did however have a friend that went mid July this year and I printed out all of my tips, ideas and suggestions and talked to her about it before she lefts. Well, when she came back she told me that everything was perfect and my information was dead on. That made me feel good, so it didn't go wasted.
How about you?

One frieed of mine went a couple of years ago and saved over $1500 by doing what I said. She said it was the best trip she had ever taken. I now also have them asking me about Vegas
