My wife and I are DVC members and I was trying to get her something different for Xmas that was disney themed like travel accessories, personal gifts anything. If someone has a good idea I would love to hear it.

Happy Holidays to all

I met a woman that is part of the Dream Team in the MK when we were down a few weeks ago. She had a GORGEOUS Mother's ring that was a hidden Mickey! The head was a diamond, both ears, the kids' birth stones. She said her husband had a jeweler make it.

I was green with envy!

Check out QVC.com. They have some really nice DIsney Jewerly. They just had a show on last week or so.

Depending on how much you want to spend, I got a watch that I still LOVE. You can get dress or casual watches. Also, Dis had some really nice jewelry in the Dis store at DTD. Go to Google and type in Disney Jewelry. You can fine several links (including Disney's) that have reasonable to expensive items. Jewelry is always such a great gift that lasts through the years! :cloud9:

QVC had earrings that were Mickey's, and they looked like diamonds, for about $30 that was very nice. They also had a GORGEOUS watch that had a mother of pearl face in white or blue, actual diamonds around the bezel--1/4 caret, I think-- with a saphire in the stem where you set the time. It was $150, and really stunning! Of course, you could give her the best gift of all--a trip to Disney, and don't tell her more than a week or so ahead of time(make all the arrangements).:yay:

If jewelry isn't your thing...here are the things I saw, wanted (and in a couple of cases, bought!) for myself when we were at Disney World T-giving week:

Christmas PJs--they have a variety of designs...my personal choice (Yes, I bought 'em for myself!) were red "Christmas plaid" flannel pants and a green "box knit" pullover shirt w/Mickey & Minnie wearing Christmas outfits) stenciled on the front...I've been wearing 'em (yes, I've washed them!) ever since I got back...SO comfortable, very Christmas-y...I love 'em!

Fleece jackets/pullovers...again, a great selection...I got a red one, w/a very "subtle" Mickey Christmas silhouette embroidered on the left chest area...it's zip-up, w/deep pockets...no hood...again, I love it (and yes, I got this for myself, too!)...they also had pullovers and several different colors (black, navy, forest green, as I recall)

What did I "deny" myself? More than one pair of PJs, and more than one fleece! Aren't I "good?" Grin...

There are, of course, the "usual" assorted really lovely Christmas ornaments (I particularly like this year's "peppermint" style...not as fond of the belted Santa motif, altho I certainly don't dislike it...but wasn't at all tempted by that...)

At MK, in one of the Main St store windows (on the right as you walk towards Cinderella's Castle), there was a porcelain "sculpture" that I will dream about for years...it was a santa's sleigh, on sculpted ice & snow, and it was GORGEOUS! And it was mega-bucks, too...(I don't remember the price, altho I did check...less than $1000, but way more than I was willing to spend, as I recall)...

And LOTS of lovely jewelry!

Or, try Arribas at either Downtown Disney or at the "stall" in front of Germany...some gorgeous "crystal" Disney figures...embossed stemware, etc.

Mickey's Pantry at Downtown Disney also had a year's salary's worth of stuff I'd love...tea sets, bowls, platters...Christmas-y and "other"...great stuff!

Your wife is fortunate to have you looking for these things for her...

Merry Christmas!
