Hello,

We are planning a trip in October. I am interested in getting fanny packs for my kids. I would like to find a princess themed pack for my daughter (age 6) and Mickey for my son (age 3). Is there a good selection at the Magic Kingdom or in any of the WDW stores?

If not, does anyone know of someplace that I could find a selection of them? I have checked the Disneystore.com and couldnt find any at all.

Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks,

A friend of mine got my dd a Lilo one at the outlets in Orlando on her last trip.

I had posted this exact question about a month ago! No one ever did report princess fanny packs other than ones at dollar discount stores that were part of play jewelry/make-up kits I believe. I ended up finding Tinkerbell & Sorcerer Mickey ones on e-bay, but the zipper pull on the Tinkerbell one broke the first day she wore it :( Autograph books didn't fit in the child size ones either. They stopped wearing them after a couple of days. I also had found a Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade full-sized fanny pack that also held a water bottle on e-bay that my 10 year old wore. It was great & used daily. At the parks & DTD I only noticed black fanny packs w/ Disney logo (they were cute) and I think Tinkerbell that I wasn't that impressed with. Hope this helps.
P.S. We just got back last night & it was 95+ every day. No rain the entire 8 days we were there! We drank lots of water & tried to take breaks in the afternoons!

I don't know if there is a Big Lots in your area but I just bought a princess one (with Jasmine, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty) on the front - just last week. Its purple and pink and comes with play make up. My daughter loves it!!! I think it was only like $4.99 or $5.99. It wasn't much. I know it was way under $10.

You might want to consider taking your kids with you when you pick out the fanny packs...I bought 3-4 different "kid-sized" fanny packs for my daughter during her preschool years, and every one of them was too big even when they were adjusted to the smallest possible size. One of them was even from the Disney Store. My DD is actually at the higher end of the growth curve too, so it's not like she's unusually skinny.....just poor planning on behalf of some of those fanny pack designers! I kept thinking it was a fluke and that the next one I would buy would fit; I'd hold them up and think they'd fit, but a preschooler's waist is smaller than you'd think!
