Well FINALLY after a few months wait the surveyor came round today to measure up for my new kitchen and bathroom.
Hopefully he said they can start on Monday or the week after but he will ring me this week with a offical date.:cool1: :cool1:

Now i really want to do a Disney themed bathroom and Kitchen:cloud9: . I was thinking of a Mickey bathroom, but what kind of Disney theme for the kitchen. And where will i buy all these products :rotfl: I can't buy everything all at once sadly. :(

If anyone has any suggestions on what i can do it would be much appreciated. I'm useless at decorating and all that jazz :lmao:

I've just been on a certain auction site and typed in mickey mouse shower and mickey mouse bathroom and a few nice things came up. Shower curtain and a ceramic mickey mouse set for the bathroom.

Sounds lush, im off to have a look. I really want a Mickey mirror for the bathroom and some matching towels lol.

I was in wilkinsons yesterday and they had the mickey toaster in there for a bargain price of £10 it makes a mickey head in your toast and plays the mickey mouse tune when it pops up!!!

We love ours we got one about a year and a half ago from argos it was £30 if i can remember rightly so it certainly is a bargain in argos we also got a mickey popcorn maker just checked and they don't do them no more.:(

In my twenties I used to custom make mirrors for friends, any GOOD glaziers will cut a mirror like that and I bet it'd be cheaper too...

I would have no idea how to go about that, would i get a slate of glass and take it to them?

No, they'll provide the mirror just go with your measurements, I'm sure they'll know the shape of Mickey's head ::yes:: but if you want to be precise (incase they get the proportions wrong) take a paper template. Get them to quote for it before they start cutting though. Ask their advice about attaching it too the wall too, as I'm guessing you'll want a flush smooth finish.

Yeah, thanks hun. Gonna look into that as soon as they have installed the new bathroom so i know how much space im working with for a mirror.
