Disney theme wedding-NOT at WDW

Hi everyone.. we're having a Mickey & Minnie themed wedding and reception taking place where we live (New Jersey). I'm trying to come up with ideas for wedding favors for our guests but have been unable to think of anything. Has anyone done this before or have any suggestions on what we can have as favors for our wedding? Any ideas/suggestions are greatly appreciated!! Our wedding is in May, 2008...

off the top of my head, you could do M&Ms in mickey colors with your wedding date and names.

you could make mickey rice krispy treats w/ the ears dipped in chocolate

they're both great ideas!! Can I order M&Ms in specific colors and have our names and wedding date put on them?? i've never heard of doing this before!!

Also, where would i find something that i could make the mickey-shape rice krispie treats?

I know for the mickey ears ppl are using the egg mold thingy they have or a cookie cutter. I just saw both available for purchase on the laughingplace.com yesterday. You could try online disney store too.

You can get a Mickey and Minnie cake topper for your cake.

Mickey bubble favors:

Mickey shaped place cards.

Mickey shaped candles.

Mickey and Minnie champagne flutes.

My wedding theme is also Disney and its going to be in Chicago, not WDW.
For favors I always like to give edible favors because I'd rather have you eat the favor instead of throwing it away!
Soo.. my favors are going to be chocolate Mickey faces. My local confectionary store has a Mickey mold and they put them in a clear bags and a bow that matches your wedding. I will have them placed on top of each plate so that the guest can eat them as soon as they walk in.
