Thought I would share, since the H20 phone card was a bust... I needed an alternative for a cheap sim card or phone/air time package. So surfing around, I found a great deal at radio shack!

Get a Net10 Samsung R355 for $9.99 includes 300 airtime minutes. (good for 60 days) Regular price is $99.

I can't add on the link, but go to the radioshack website and it should be on the main page or go to the cell phone section.

Free ground shipping, but you need to buy it online and only ships within USA.

So what I did was paid with paypal and it's shipping to my hotel.
Hope this helps anyone out there.:)

I would be interested to see how this works out for you :)

Net10 is the same company as Tracfone. I've been using Tracfone for years.

I think that is a fantastic deal. Tempting for me to get a second phone....but I won't be in the US until July.

We have two cheap Net10 pay as you go phones. They work okay; coverage was pretty good in Disney Parks, but we could not get a connection inside of US/IOA. There is service in the parks, but we could not get a connection due ot busy circuits? That was frustrating as we were relying on the phones to arrange rendezvous. Eventually figured out that texts would go out when it could get a line.

I went online...I didn't see anything :confused3

perhaps send me a pm with the direct link ?

sorry can't send u a pm, i don't have enough posts yet to do it.

the website main page doesn't show the phone anymore, but look under cell phones, no contract phones, and then it should be there.

I currently have an I-Phone with Telus and one of the reasons I bought it was for the Aps I could use while down in WDW. I now find out how exspensive it is and am second guessing that plan.

Can I use this phone advertised on the link above for Aps or web browsing and how does that count agains your air time. Does 3 minutes of Data mean 3 minutes of use?

I really want to use the Lines App from touring plans.

Also can I just buy a smart card and use it in my current I-Phone and not be charged by Telus?

Sorry if I hijacked this thread but was very curious.

Hmmmm....

I went to the link and don't see where it says that the 300 minutes are included....???

I would also be interested in hearing if anyone has any experience with a U.S. prepaid cell phone that will let you use the wait time apps...

If it is the OLD packaging, which says 300 min included on it, the company is supposed to honor it. But I'm not sure if it is the old or new packaging. I'll find out next week....but if it is new, I'll just return it.

We bought tracphone here-can not text to Canada--it is in the fine print-we have one phone with a Canadian number that works in the states and though we are here we can not text to that number from the trac phone unless we type in the email version of our Canadian cell phone number and we have to type in that email address each time can't save to contacts. I do not know if the Net 10 will text to Canada? We would not have bought the tracphone had we known no texting to Canada at all.
