Disney Tattoos

I LOVE all the tattoos (Disney and not) that I am seeing! Awesome designs guys! I've been thinking of a tattoo for a while, and now you have me thinking about my second before I get my first lol.

My first tattoo, I want to get an elephant with "Grandfather" in chinese underneath it, in memory of my grandfather. I've always associated elephants with my grandpa because the last thing he gave me was a small stuffed elephant that I still have. I'm thinking of also having a tribal design around it with cherry blossoms weaving in and out of it, but I'm not really sure how it'd look....

This is what I have so far:

I like that it is looking up, makes me think that it is looking up to heaven. Maybe with the shading turning into blue instead of grey though, since I don't really want an all black tattoo. We'll see.

I'm glad you like it Mandy . I wish I had the skills to design a hidden mickey tattoo like you did, but I tried and it came out REALLY bad lol. You are very talented

Me and the future wife decided to get matching tat's . We wanted a disney theme as we are getting married on a Disney cruise and spending our honeymoon at the world. We just got these last night. I think they turned out pretty cool. The letters in the ears is the first initial of my name and df name and the G in the head is our last name.

Aww thanks. I am kinda thinking of altering my paw print by either turning it into a tree or doing something with Cherry Blossoms that start out grey and turn to color.

I have 5 tattoos now: 1 on each shoulder blade, 1 on my foot, and 2 on my chest area(which hurt the most out of all of them to me...)

I'm thinking about getting a tattoo on the inside of each wrist and just want to know how the pain compares to other parts of the body....

Can't answer your question because I still haven't gotten the guts up to get my first, lol, so I have a pain question for you. How bad was the shoulder blade and foot one? I'm considering my foot or ankle mainly and would imagine the shoulder blade to be similiar to the ankle (if that makes sense). TIA

the shoulder ones weren't bad at all...a little uncomfortable and weird feeling but not bad at all.
the foot...a lot of people say this hurts the worst...it did hurt, but it wasn't unbearable for me and I have a pretty low tolerance of pain...

good luck gettting the guts to do it...that's the hardest part!

I am going to be getting a Disney one on my left ankle soon. This is the one I have on my right shoulder blade. It's a Celtic Trinity symbol, a Triquetra.

My ankle will I think will be this:

or the Mickey shape with the Irish Flag colors. I still haven't decided which. I'll post a pic once I finally do it.

Well, I only have one on my foot which I thought was pretty bad. LoL So, while I can't personally compare the two, I will tell you what my girlfriend told me. She's got them all down the center of her back, her foot, and her wrist. She said the foot was the worst of all of hers, and then the wrist was still slightly uncomfortable, but not as bad as the foot. Hopefully, that can put it into perspective for you.

Great Tattoos everyone! I especially love Snow White! Quick question though, do any of you have problems with allergic reaction? I have one tattoo (small- thank goodness!!!) on the top of my foot. It healed great but I am allergic to it! My body continually tries to reject it, it gets bad about once a month for a week or so...this for YEARS! Urgh! Any tips? My family thinks I should just get it removed and be done with it!

Got my wrist done two weeks ago Saturday. Was uncomfortable, but not painful. I have 3 on my ankles which hurt much worse. I was really shocked that the wrist was so easy, I was expecting it to be the most painful! Go for it!

I have one that goes around my wrist (like a bracelet) and it was probably the one that hurt the least (didn't really hurt, more of an annoyance). It also only bled in one small space on the bone. Just be careful how they place the outline. My wrist was turned akwardly when they did mine so I have to decide if I want it removed and re-done (or covered up) because the design got skewed.

I am going to get it fixed, possibly tomorrow, and add some more roses added to it.

After looking at this thread I really want a hidden Mickey in one of the roses.

Can someone please either find me a picture or draw me a rose with a hidden Mickey in the middle of the outline or something like that??

My other thought is to have 3 roses in the shape of a hidden Mickey.

What do you all think?? Thoughts?? Ideas??

I am also looking at one my friend drew that is one big rose and two smaller ones in the shape of a Hidden Mickey.

I dropped off both drawings to the artist on my way home. He is going to play around with them and show me what he comes up with tomorrow. He also suggested a swirly mickey in the rose vines.

I might just go with the smaller one with the 3 roses on my ankle and then maybe get the bigger one somewhere else. I am also looking at having the Mickey in the middle of the rose you suggested, made out of swirls.

I am going to have it done at noon tomorrow. I will have to wait until Monday to post a picture as the only camera I have is at work.

I really like the one you picked for yourself.

No I found it online and tweaked it...kinda like the one I did for myself. I took it apart and repositioned around what is my current tattoo. I think I am going to go next month and see what he can do. Good luck tomorrow and post pictures!! I like the idea of three roses making a mickey head but I also like the idea of mickey in the vines! Very cool!
