Got this tattoo done about 3 weeks ago; the picture was taken after a day.
I just love Oliver & co! We had a cat named Oliver when I was young, and I absolutely loved that cat.
He died 10 years ago and I was thinking about getting a memorial tattoo for about a year.
So I finally decided to go for it and I'm very happy with it!

This is one of the better Tink tattoos I've seen. Not extremely true to the original, but it's flirty and pinup-esque.

Peter is great at fine line tattoos (well he is great at all tattoos lol). I just found out that he moved to the states and now has a shop in Savannah. I want to go back to him to get my shoulder done. As for the picture of Tink, I took a tee-shirt that I bought from WDW in to him. That is where the pic came from thanks again for the compliments!

I just returned from my apt with my tattoo artist. He like the arm band. He said that it will need to be bigger so it doesn't turn into a big blob or little blogs. He even know what the "ball" was, so that's a good sign. He wants to give SSE some detail. This shop will clean up tattoos they do free for life. I made an appointment for March 4th! I hope it turns out..
I'll post a picture when it done

That artist did a SUPERB job with the outlining...so crisp! The color looks great too. Take good care of that one

I'll have to take a look back through more of this thread, but what I've seen so far looks great!

I'm hopefully going in tomorrow to my tattoo artist to see a sketch he's done up for me of an Alice in Wonderland piece. I'm excited!

I love all of your tattoos. I have been a lurker on the forum for some time and had to sign up to comment on this one.

My husband is contemplating getting a Sorcerer Mickey Tat. I have a non-disney tat that is a fairy but is nothing like Tink. I am considering getting a tattoo of the lost boys for the 2 babies I miscarried. We will see.

If Disney has a fit over Tattoo artists recreating their work... do THEY have a tattoo artist they sponsor? We are currently in Florida for a few months and I was hoping to find an artist to do a great Mickey but I don't want to take chances on getting a bad artist.

I just can't fathom why they would have a copyright issue with tattoo artists if they do not provide the service. Oy!

You should definitely go for it! And no, Disney does not sponsor a tattoo artist (but how cool would that be?) As far as copyright issues and artists refusing to do certain designs.. that is all hit or miss. I haven't heard anything recently about artists refusing disney, though. I would call first and ask. When it comes to finding a good artist, that's where doing your homework is important. I'd google tattoo shops in the area and see the reviews or stop in for samples of their work.
