Disney Tattoo

I was really thinking about it, but the idea of a tattoo of a corporate company (even Disney) scared me.

I love the hidden mickey though Mandy, very nice!

I was thinking of having a little mickey head on the base of my spine, but then again, i HATE needles!

i have one, but not mickey. i should have gotten mickey. my sister has a mickey head on her back and gleefully showed mickey last trip---i am sure mickey really appreciated that and her 2.5 yo daughter at the time was wondering what was going on.

You are not selling it, so not much they can do. You can have whatever you want on your body. The tattoo parlor was very specific though that I needed to bring what I wanted tattooed-I wondered why in their books they had no characters at all, guess thats why.
I hate needles (and pain) as well, BTW- which is why I procrastinated. The tattoo guy was great about it and warned me when he was getting to a part that as he described "was gonna suck a little" he was hysterical. I have pics of me getting the tattoo as well- maybe I will post a couple. just had it done in July.

BTW, cannot find the tattoo thread over on theme parks board, what am I doing wrong??

My friend has the coolest Mickey tattoo. It's the simple black Mickey head (3 plain filled-in black circles), the Mickey shorts, the Mickey gloves, and the Mickey shoes all placed where they would be if the rest of Mickey was actually there. Does that make sense? He got it from a scrapbook sticker set. I really love it. I wish my description would do it justice.

I just got one done on Saturday. It's my very first one (after everyone else in my family has gotten some kind of tattoo). I always thought about it and I finally just went and got it done. It's a tatto on my right inside forearm of Eeyore's tail. The way I see it is he always loses his tail so now I will always have it for him. Dorky I know but I love it. As soon as the redness and teeny bit of swelling goes away I'm going to have my sister take a picture of it and I'll post for people to see.

I have a Disney tattoo planned, I just have to wait til I can afford it!

My favorite movie is The Little Mermaid, so it's gonna be a lyric from Part of Your World on my side, surrounded with barnacles and probably a little Flounder next to it...I can't wait!!

I really love this idea! I bet it would turn out really good. Where would you put it?

That is amazing! If I got one I would want it to be as colorful and as full of personality as this one is!

Im in the process of getting 2 celtic dragons on my back. But now that I think about it I should probably get something disney. I am only obsessed and talk about disney 50 times a day!

On my CP we played a wierd trivia game and we asked who had disney tatoos and had to show them. One guy had his whole back tattooed with bagheera from jungle book. it was really original and cool looking.

Here's mine! I needed to bring a picture to the tattoo artist as they are not allowed to do their own drawing due to copywright issues, if you bring them a picture they are covered apparently. At least that is what I was told!

im new here, but this had to me first post, i have been in a LOT of tattoo shops, i have friends who own their own shops, and i have NEVER heard of copyright issues regarding a tattoo, that is just silly. I wonder if they just didnt want to be creative that day. If you call 100 different shops, i doubt you would find one that brings up that issue. but regardless, it looks like you got a nice tattoo !! congratulations !

i have lots of tattoos, but none Disney yet, well i do have a Star wars tattoo, and that is kind of Disney i suppose. but no Disney Characters yet, but i agree, a Hidden mickey is very cool. im going to try and incorporate one somewhere for my next tattoo, but i want it to be very hidden. keep posting more pictures of Disney tattoos !

But I have one that goes around my ankle it is from the Tao of Pooh book. It tells a little story, I like it. It is Pooh, piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore

I have an obscure Disney one on my right forearm...it's that tatto that Jack Sparrow has in the Pirates of the Carribbean films (Johnny Depp also has the same tattoo) I can find a picture tonight

I got one of Simba way back in July 1994. It still looks great today. It's on my inner left ankle area.

Since I stink at taking pics, here is the picture I took in to get it done. The only thing I got is Simba, not the background.

I plan on getting a whole sleeve soon with all my immediate family as characters represented. Its basicly a tribute to how my family has influenced me. Like for my mom is going to be Jimminy Cricket with "always let your conscience be your guide". A Mickey firefighter for my dad, Tinkerbell for my sister, and Buzz Lightyear for my brother. Not 100% on the design yet, but once i get it I will post a picture up. I also plan on a classic Mickey head on the top of it.

Mine isn't really a tattoo, but- I have an almost perfectly round brown birthmark on my foot and I at times draw Mickey ears on it with a brown eye pencil haha Everyone says I should get it tattooed on but i'm too nervous! So I will have to do with this semi-permanent one!

For years I've considered an Alice in Wonderland tattoo, probably a Cheshire Cat, but maybe Alice and the Caterpillar on the mushroom.

See-- this is my problem. Can't decide which tattoo, where to put it, etc. Fail.
