Is this true? If so - can I get pet stuff at World of Disney now?
I recently rescued a litter of kittens (about 3 weeks old) and have inherited two of them. The rest I was able to find homes for. I would love to be able to get some Disney collars and bowls for them while we are there in December.
Thanks!

you can get pet stuff all over the resort. whatever happens to be available at the time. this even includes resort gift shops.

I was really sad when I heard about this. My dogs always look forward to their toys that I bring back from Disney. Belle loves her pink Mickey head "Princess" toy. princess:

Belle is on her second one. I promised her that mommy would get her another one when we go in a couple of months. She would be devastated if she couldn't get another one. She has a million toys but always goes for that toy. :rotfl:

I have gotten my kitties some things at the Polynesian Resort so I would assume there is a selection at each resort. Not a huge selection but ... enough. There was always more for dogs than cats.

I did get a rhinestone Mickey Head for Peanut Butter in 2006. He wore it until recently when all the "jewels" finally started coming off. I also got Tinkerbell charms for the other two cats we had in 2006 (Snowflake - nearly 19 now) and Mustache (gone but sweetly remembered). Unfortunately I found this weird metal thing in the carpet just a few days later and after puzzling over it realized -- it was Tink's Head :scared1: -- just a headless body attached to Snowflake -- ha ha - those did not last long.

Anyway ... also got some catnip furry "blocks" with various Disney cats on it. Very cute.

Congrats on your new furry family members! :thumbsup2

Thanks! I have never had kittens this young before! I am glad that I was able to find homes for most of them - otherwise I think I would have ended up keeping all (5)!
These two are vry cute - one all black and the other all white - and they are both total princesses already! I was hoping to be able to find some cute collars and charms for them. Sounds like this will be like a treasure hunt trying to find something for them! Fun!!

Huge selection of pet stuff still at the World of Disney in DTD. Dog and cat stuff both. Just saw it couple of weeks ago.

The selection is small, but I was happy to see new items this past week from when I was last there in December. Only one collar, and the same princess/dog/cat bowls. We had to check a couple of places to get the sizes we wanted because small and medium sell out quickly.

Our resort (POP) had a bunch of pet goodies and the firehouse on Main Street USA is all pet supplies. Obviously, mostly for dogs, but you can still find cat stuff (and could probably even use some of the stuff meant for dogs if it's small enough).

When I was down at Disney in late August I found a semi-good selection in a corner of the Winnie the Pooh store in Downtown Disney.

I just want to say you have a good heart. Anyone who goes out of their way to help animals (or people for that matter) has something special in them. You saved 5 lives. I live in Brooklyn New York and have had my share of helping stray cats but I was NOT expecting to see a very large possum in my yard a couple of months ago! Never saw one before! Then she disappears and 3 babies emerged. Now mommy possum is back so the whole family is in my back yard! I have been feeding them but I think it is time to call a rescue and release place. The babies are cute but really do look like rats and I am afraid a neighbor is going to mistake them for said rats and bash them. I have no idea WHAT is going on. New York (the city) is FULL of skunks, raccoons and possums now. I guess they are getting forced out of their natural habitats which is sad. Have fun with your new kittens!!!:goodvibes

Hope I can find the Mickey pink Princess head at one of the big stores in the parks. I've got an English Bulldog and she rips through toys in a flash. These have lasted her longer than anything but she finally ate the ears off both the ones I bought in May so now she's just go 2 round pink circles and I promised to bring her one from my trip this week but I don't have any plans to go to DD where I usually get them.

My dog goes through toys quickly also. We got home on Saturday and gave our dog Sultan his present. We got the Mickey Shaped toy made out of what looks like a car tyre. It looked pretty tough and I thought it may last a few weeks. Well by Saturday night it was in 3 pieces. On Sunday I threw it away as it was in about 50-60 little tiny pieces.
It sounds silly but the other dog got a princess photo frame. She doesn't play with toys and she got the princess collar and lead last time. And the bowls are all to small for her. I would have got the Mickey shaped pillow but the Sultan would have taken it and chewed it up. So we are putting a picture of her in her princess frame.

Thank you! I was VERY happy that I was able to find them when I did - while they were still too small to get out fo the basement. Just a week or two ago I saw a coyote in the backyard! I would hate to think the danger they would have been in if they were running around in the backyard.
