Disney Swan

Hi,

Yes you can..or you can take a boat. Walking is usually faster.

Yes you can. You cross the foot bridge between the Swan and the boat dock (going towards the Boardwalk). Turn left after the bridge and follow the walkway to MGM. It's a nice 10 minute walk along the water. It's very nice.

If you take the boat, MGM is the first stop. The boats run from Epcot, Boardwalk, Yacht/Beach Club, Swan/Dolphin, MGM then in reverse - MGM, Swan/Dolphin, Yacht/Beach, Boardwalk, Epcot.

I know you can walk to EPCOt from the swan but can you also walk to MGM?

The boat ride is 8 minutes from S/D dock to MGM dock, but you still have to factor in the wait for the boat to get to the S/D, and unload first, then load, then leave. As Bob P said, usually walking is faster. If you time it right and get lucky, take the boat. We timed the walk from the clown slide at BW to MGM at 13 minutes to the front gate area, so I believe the walk from the Swan would be somewhere in the 15-16 minute range.

Yes, from the Swan the walk to Epcot is about 10 minutes. You can walk to MGM but I myself haven't done it, it's too long for me, especially if it's real hot like when we were just there. My DS walked it when he was on his own but he's much younger than I am:rotfl:

You must be a very fast walker! It takes me 15-20 minutes to walk from the Swan, and I walk fairly fast

I agree. I can't walk to MGM because it's too much for me but it's definitely about 20 minutes. Yes, it's 10 mins. to get to Epcot but not MGM unless you jog it.

Are you sure about the left turn? It seems to me it would be a right turn when you cross the bridge. Wouldn't turning left take you to the Yacht Club?
