We booked this for DD13 & DS10 at the time.It is as Wilma-bride says $150 each, but it was money well worth spending. We arrived at Typhoon Lagoon at about 5.30 am, if you do this near the start of your holiday its not a problem. You pay for you lessons on the gate before you start, then your led through the park(which is quiet strange because its dark and empty) where you are met by your instructors. You get 30 minute land training, then its all about getting in the water and having fun.You can choose waves, you can either ride the small 3ft wave or the next wave which is the 6 footer, which ever one you want to go for the instructors on the side & in the water are there to help and reassure you.No matter what your ability they will make sure you get up to ride a wave at least once, also there is a lifeguard in the water

The whole lesson ended about 9-9.30 just before the park opened. Our kids loved it and want to do it again. It well organised, they only allow up to about 12 to participate, and you get to see the water park in a different way
