Disney stuff at Wal-Mart

Someone said that you can buy a lot of souvenier merchandise at the WM near Disney - is this true? We were thinking about making a stop to get autograph books and stuff before we hit the parks.

YES!! They had tons of stuff.. That is where we went to get some things and was amazed at that amount of different shirts and mugs and such that you could get for cheap.

They have some stuff. Unfortunately, about half of what they had last year. They may not have something as specific as autograph books, but never really looked for them either... If driving about half way back to WDW on the right side there is a set of outlet stores and in the back is a Disney Character Outlet (actually two locations in this outlet). Last Christmas they had tons of golf type shirts for $10-13. Real nice all embroidered plus had a ton of small to large Disney sweat shirts.

When we were there at the end of October, they had lots of souvenirs - everything from autograph books, pens, photo albums, dishes, to every kind of clothing in every size for your family. They have magnets, pins, postcards, mugs, tote bags, etc......we always go to stock up on groceries, so I always grab a couple of cheap souvenirs (got an Eeyore dish towel last year).

Absolutly!!!
You will find very nice souvenirs cheaper than in Disney. They have clothes,hats, stationnary, key chains, mugs, beach towels, pins... Name it, they have it. But you won't find theme park merchandise and you won't get specific items like you get in Disney. After all Disney is disney.
There are 2 WM near Disney,to go the one with the biggest Disney section: When you're on 192 turn left at Camping World, it is not very far on your left. It is about10 minutes from the World and they have very large oppening hours.

Both of the outlet malls in Orlando have Disney outlets that sell things from the parks at a nice discount - things that say WDW and not just Disney.

I was at the Walmart on Turkey Lake Rd this week and they had a lot of Disney souvenirs - a whole section and then some. Lots of cute t shirts for $12 - thin and light weight perfect for Florida, beach towels, bags, lots of kids items etc.

We always go to the Walmart near WDW on our first day of arrival to get a few breakfast items, then browse the store for souvies for the folks back home, they have tons of things and of course at a low Walmart price. This way I know who I still need to get for in the parks and of course for myself and my spending money goes a little further too.

So in short Yes, Yes lots of souvies at the local Walmart.

I am bumping this..
I need to know the address for which Wallmart has the biggerst Disneyy section.
We happen to stop there last may before checking into WDW and I was amazed on how much stuff they had.. At that point I wasn't thinking price.
My thought was hold of for WDW while as it may be more expensive,I would find more choices and nicer stuff at WDW..

Boy was I disppointed.Yes, WDW has nice stuff, but to be honest, I think Walmart might have had alot more of what I was looking for.

So this Sept, we will stop there and buy stuff. I Just need the address, I know it was really close.
