Disney Studio Tour

Hi! This december we are going for the first time to California (it's a long trip from home).
The thing is that my son is 9 years old (he will be 10 just a couple of months after our trip) and he would love to make the Studio Tour.
Do you know if they really check kid's age? Do you have to show an ID for the kids?

They will not ask for proof of age.
This is more that there is not really a lot for younger kids to get excited about during the tour, and that there are many areas that they don't want people running around or not listening to the guide.

I assume the age thing is more of a maturity thing than anything.
