Disney stores closed???

I cannot believe the one in Milford closed. I agree with you that store was ALWAYS busy. Do you know if the one in Meriden is still open? For some reason I think that one closed as well.

I'll have to check on that one.

The one in Trumbull, CT is closing too. There is a sign in the window saying that even the fixtures are for sale. They are almost out of merchandise and the entire store is stocked with this one print with a character I don't even recognize.

I actually liked the Milford store better than the one in Trumbull. Milford was always well-kept, and clean, though I agree with everyone else about the general merchandise selection.

Too bad. I hope something reopens in the area soon.

I always liked the Milford one better as well. The Trumbull one closed once before if I remember correctly. I had only been to the Danbury one once and it really felt more like a Disney Store outlet.

It just seems like they are closing all of them. It doesn't seem like any of them are left in CT. It's very sad. I used to love going for the collectible watches back when they were originally owned by Disney.

Do you know if the one in Meriden is still open? For some reason I think that one closed as well.

Meriden's is closed, too. I was told that the only one remaining in CT is at Westfarms Mall in West Hartford. I was just there on Friday, so that one is definitely still there.

The Omaha store closed also. The closest one now is Kansas City, Kansas over 3 hours away:headache:

Interestingly enough, a new Disney store just opened in our smaller, local mall here (Oakridge). There has been a large store at the big, fancy mall across town (Valley Fair) for years, but I haven't been in there for awhile.

I was just in the local Disney Store yesterday at Square One Mall in Saugus. Maybe because I don't shop there much I never noticed a change. Usually the kids browse a few minutes and we leave. Yesterday I did pick up some tshirts for $2.99 which included sizes from kids 2/3 all the way up to adult men 2x. There is one lady who has probably worked there they entire 8 years I have been going to this mall. I did like the one at Fanieul Hall which was on two floors but that switched to a fancy toy store a few years ago and is now Build a Bear.

Go to the official store website and it looks like the list of open stores is perfectly up to date. For example, the only Disney Store left in CT is the one at West Farms. It doesn't show Milford, Trumbull, Manchester, or Meriden). Also, Holyoke Mall one is not on the list either. So sad.

we lost ours here in Chesapeake Va. Also, there was a Disney Outlet scheduled to open at the Prime Outlets in Williamsburg, VA that was canceled.

 :headache:
