Disney Store System Upgrade

Does anyone know when they will be done this upgrade?

sorry was at the limeridge store today and the upgrade is still going on. Asked when the store will be converted, stated that it is been delayed again but not date yet.

I don't understand why they can accept a few credit cards but not all. I assume that the in house system is the same for all credit cards. Strange.

The credit cards all run on different merchant numbers. So the DS stores have been able to get merchant numbers for Visa and Amex but not for M/C or Debit. They are probably still working out the" terms of there agreement." . At least there are some payment options now It was very frustrating with cash only!!!

I don't remember seeing this type of problem when Children's Place took over a few years ago.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Disney is taking them back, but what's with the system problems!

I would think not since the stores were just renovated when the Children's Place took over.

I would LOVE to see these stores go back to the original decor and the type of things they carried. Although I have a feeling that won't happen.


It was so nice to feel like I stepped out of my world and into a little bit of Disney. Now I just feel like it is a store that sells Disney stuff. But I will gladly take what I can get.

I know what you mean, the Halifax store looks a lot different from the one in Moncton. The Moncton location has similar decor and set up as the ones in the Toronto area.
