Disney Store/Shopping Girls Bathing Suits

So I was in our local DS and was looking at swimsuits for my dd7. Every style I liked only went up to a size 7/8. I thought maybe the larger sizes were sold out as they don't get as many in the bigger sizes. I asked the CM there and they weren't sure what was going on either.

I came home to shop online and to my surprise (and annoyance ) they are only selling them up to size 7/8! My dd is only 7 and she is a size 10 in a swimsuit (long torso but super thin). I can imagine I am the only on whose little one would still wear disney swimwear but is too big for a 7/8 . I am so disappointed.

Last year Costco had Disney swimsuits. I haven't checked this year yet.
I believe they even came with some sort of swim cover up? Hope you find something for your DD.

Our Costco only had these up to 6x this past weekend; too bad because DD loved those sets when she was younger. I always thought the disney store suits ran a little small, now that DD is 7 I guess we'll have to look elsewhere.

I think they run really small. My friend's daughter and my daughter both wore suits almost 2 sizes bigger than what they wore in any other suit. They were very cute suits but this year I am going with a Speedo for my youngest like her sister wears.

I second that! I have always had to go up at least 2 sizes on Disney Store swimsuits!

DD is 4 and wears a 5/6 t-shirt (long torso), I just bought her a 7/8 t-shirt and it doesn't look huge!!

I used to love the suits from here too...but they run too small and were not always lined. So no more Disney Store suits for us either. Too bad as they were really cute, but really you can find better quality at Walmart!

Well that sucks! My daughter will be 11 years old soon and wears a 10/12.

She wanted a disney swimsuit and I thought for sure we could purchase on at WDW for her.

I called DS customer service and the woman on the phone was shocked that they only went up to 7/8 (and I explained they run small so that is more like a 4/5). She said oh they are figuring you would want a tween suit....okay not really but can you show me the tween suits.....oh sorry we aren't selling any

Even the CM thought it was odd!
