disney store shipping to resort

Does anyone know about shipping to the resort they are staying at? How long before your trip did you buy from the disney store? Our trip isn't till septenber...but disneys sale is on now

We did ship well in advance but not 3 months. We received a call saying we received this package for you and we had to tell them when we will be there. We had numerous shipped in Jan but after the first call they did not call after. We checked into our room and all the packages were there waiting for us

We shipped to CBR a few years ago, a couple of weeks out, and they nearly lost it--it took some tracking and insisting on our part to get them to find it. So, closer is better I think. We also shipped to CSR when we stayed there, and they didn't lose it, but I believe they charged a handling fee (because they are a "convention hotel", they were charging for package handling). BUt I am absolutely planning on doing it again this time. ThinkGeek (love their stuff but duty and shipping are killer), and maybe some LL Bean to reduce the duty...
