Disney store Semi-Annual Sale coming up??

I hit this sale every summer and get some really great buys. Last year we got tons of pins for about $2.00 each. I haven't seen any pins in the store lately so I don't think they'll have them this time around.

When I was in the store last week I asked about the sale and the girl told me either the first or second week in June. Anyone know anymore specifics??

I am also waiting for this sale and info on when it is going to start. I remember is always being the first week of June because it is my daughters birthday (today) and I always hit it the week after or during that week and things she got for her birthday were always a lot less. I always stock up on sunglasses, flip flops, bathing suits for our Disney trip. I went yesterday and the girl told me the sale is going on. Bathing suits are $12.99. I said, "No, the real sale where things are 40% off the sale price." She said she has no idea of when the sales come out but I think they do. I am waiting with you. I actually came to DIS Boards today in search of the date.

I remember last year at the outlets it was 50% off the lowest red tagged prices. It was definitely in June because we grabbed so much good stuff right before our trip last year. We left June. 28th. I got tshirts for $2.00 and $2.50. I wish I still lived near that outlet! This was potomac mills if it helps anyone.

I just happened to hit the Disney store in Arlington,TX yesterday and the had beach towels for $7.99 great size. Also picked up some large plastic glasses (those big iced tea kind) and kids cups with a screw top and built in straw for 1/2 price. They also had plastic trays with the different characters on them for 1/2 price. Some little girls clothes were marked 40% off too.

These items have been on sale (same price as you mentioned) for almost 2 weeks now. The cups/trays are part of their Summertime Fun Collection. They also have matching plates (dinner and sandwich), potato chip bowls, dip bowl, pitcher and ice cubes, serving trays (3 stacking w/lid), picnic basket, and towel (this one is different from the 7.99 ones, it is much larger). All of them are priced 50% off. The bad thing is, I have been to the Disney Store almost every day this past week.....my dh is addicted. LOL

I can't wait to hit this sale!!

Does anyone remember it starting on a Tuesday? For some reason I think I remember it starting on an off day of the week. All I know is I can't wait for it.

Does anyone know why the Disney Stores don't seem to be selling pins anymore?

I just asked that at a Houston Disney Store today, They didn't know why - just stated that they would not be in the brick and mortar stores anymore - only online and at the Disney parks.

I don't have any new info to report but the sales lady at the store told me that they usually start on a Wed. or Thurs. (which I find to be true in the past). So I'm guessing that the 10th is probably the date.

This was online as well last year but I didn't find anything that I wanted to pay shipping on.
