Disney Store Sales?

Has anyone been to a Disney Store lately?

Thinking of going to Limeridge tomorrow and wondering if there were any sales going on (that would help my decision, lol) before I go since it's a bit of a drive for us.

We were atSquare One last week and there was nothing. They had the usual t-shirts 2 for $25, I think. The only thing that was remotely good was the plush. It was buy one get one free.

Went to the Disney Store at the Eaton Centre yesterday (love that store!) but didn't really see any deals that made me "need" to buy something. Think the clearance pretty much goes to the Vaughan location?

I was at the one in Syracuse, NY this week and saw nothing to jump about.

Now that the Ottawa store is closed, I was hoping for something good. Sadly, I came away empty handed.

I was at the Vaughan Mills store yesterday and picked up some t-shirts, but selection was fairly scarce and I didn't get the impression that prices were THAT much better than any other store. The Vaughan Mills location is closing as of Sunday until September when they open temporarily (for 18 months) while a new location is being built at Vaughan Mills.

We'll be there in three weeks too - if you want good deals, go to disneyshopping.com and look in the outlet site, and have your order shipped to your room so you don't pay duty. We do this every trip, and I'm ordering my stuff this week so it's waiting for me when I get there - so far, t-shirts for DH and me for $7.99, towels for $5.99 and many other cheap goodies I'm planning on ordering! Happy shopping!

Sorry in advance for the thread hijack...
But has anyone noticed since Disney took back ownership of the Disney Store, the sales are fewer and farther between? Sure, DisneyShopping.com still has an outlet, but even the deals there are becoming less and less frequent.
Wow, typing this makes me realize how much I miss the old days of printable 20% off coupons and the wicked discount racks Bayshore used to have

I forgot all about those 20% off coupons.....since nothing is really on sale any more they should bring back the coupons.

i was thinking the same thing. but Disneyshopping.com is no value when you don't have a trip planned, and the shipping/duties fees are still high(although i heard they did reduce shipping fees to Canada awhile back) But still not worth it.
