Just had to tell "everyone" about the great deals I just got at our local disney store.

I bought boys mesh tank tops for $1.99 each, t-shirts for $3.99, and adult t-shirts for $5.99. Also got a big stuffed "stitch" for a great price of $5.99. All the beanie sized stuffed animals were $1.99.

Another great deal was buying a beanie sized Mickey mouse (very soft, just love it) in a 4th of July hat. What? Fourth of July just passed, you say. Well, guess what!! the Mickey is attached to the hat with a little plastic "thread". You know, the kind they attach price tags with. Well, I'm just gonna snip it, toss the hat (maybe), and give the Mickey's to my kids on their trip as a souvenier. They were only $1.99!!!!!!! For a stuffed MICKEY!!!!!

Can you tell I'm excited?

The store clerks said that they are getting all new stock on Monday (July 12th) and they are clearing out.

If you live near a Disney Store and haven't checked for the sales lately, go now!!!

Well, just had to share my excitement. Only the "DIS" group can really understand the feeling of getting disney stuff at a great deal.

I've been there twice in one week and purchased many things. New items were already being brough out as well.

I was so exicted about new things in the catalog. I just ordered the tennis shoes. They were too cute to resist.

I hit three Disney Stores over the course of the weekend.

Many styles of snowglobes $29.99

Adult t-shirts $5.99

Kids t-shirts $1.99 - $3.99

Plush $3.99 - $5.99

Many cds $6.99

bins of antenna toppers, magic towels, etc small items $1.99

I only wish that I could get to more of the stores, each one had slightly different things to pick from.

Brenda

I hit the same sale

They also had come candy filled items- tea pots, popsicle makers (I didn't get those). Sunglasses were also 1.99 ea (watch the sizes, they wouldn't fit my six year old. I did get the mesh shirts for 1.99 and a whole bunch of adult sized t's for 5.99 ea for my crew!!!!! Veryy cool deals!!!!!!!!!

Just to reiterate... THIS SALE IS DA BOMB.

My DW and I went in looking for Bridal Shower gifts (Honeymoon is going to be at WDW. We found many items for the prices listed above... Also TOWELS (many different styles are available) are $7.99.

We bought some snowglobes and many many Disney shirts. Our grand total was only $218... It was well over $400 before all the sales were taken off!

I bought a plush Tigger for 5.99 (orig. $28.50) and a Princess fan for 1.99 last Friday.

The magic towels at $1.99 aren't a great deal. I bought some a few weeks ago at 50% off or $1.25.

The costumes are coming out (at full price of course).

Went back today (again). Most items were the same sale price. Did notice that the short sets for girls were now $2.99 for tops and bottoms.

Have lots of new stuff. Great stocking stuffers. I purchased the following for DD:

* princess watch
* light up tink keychain - automatically shuts off
* princess wallet
* princess candy
* mickey pen (has beads in the head so it jingles as you write)

I purchases some stuff for myself as well:

* plush mickey with zipper pocket
* light up mickey keychain
* regular silver dangle mickey keychain

That store is so addicting...:hyper:

they had some great sales. i went right before we left last thursday and got 4 pairs of sandals for dd at $1.99 and some terry hats for the same price. I was doing a jig after that! :bounce: ds got some bathing suits and shirts put away for xmas.

The adult zip up sweat jackets are $9.99. More adult shirts went to $5.99, additional styles. Many of the $5.99 plush went to $3.99 (including most of the pooh family). Adult night shirts $7.99, 2 piece PJs $9.99

Come on in and help us clear out for fall.

I love the Mickey zip-up jacket - at $9.99 it's a steal.
Unfortunately my store only had Xl and XXl left. :(

I did manage to pick up a few other items - there was not a lot of sale stuff left though.

We just visited another Disney Store (sort of local). Got a couple of t-shirts for my dh, but I have a question....

What happens to the stuff that doesn't clear out? Do they just keep trying to get rid of it, or does it end up at disneystore.com? I've also ordered from "disney deals", an ebay store that has disney overstock and stuff. Maybe it ends up there?

I'm wondering because it seemed like the two stores sold out of differents sizes.

Does anyone know???

I know. The stuff in the stores will ALL be sold. It ill continue to be marked down, until it is gone. Some things, sell out at 25%-50% off, tops. Other stuff has to go much lower to sell out. For clothing, we generally are left with undesirable things like Lizzie in size 2-3, and Minnie mouse in size 10-12. Of course, there are also items that simply sellout at full price, it is hard to judge what will happen. Girls suits were gone at $7.99, for the most part. Stores seem to be left with boys suits in size 7/8 and 10/12 right now, at $4.99.

Sometimes there IS product that appears to be fromthe stores on Disney Auctions and Disney Deals. But this is overstock diverted from the warehouse or manufacturer. It is too costly for us to pack it up, count it, transfer it out, from the actual stores. (There are rare exceptions to this).

As for the sizes left in different stores being different, that is unusual, but a random thing. Some of the things on sale will go back up, most often the toys (not summer toys).

Wonder if sale will still be on this Sunday, DFiance doesn't have time off till then (our store is over an hour away).

Today, I decided to return the princess wallet that I purchased earlier in the week. Got home and noticed that there was really no place in the wallet for children to put change. There was a section for bills, ID and credit card slots, but no zip coin pouch or anything. That was really disappointing as I really loved the wallet.:(

I went to the store to return it and stated my reason. The CM looked at it and even thought that was a dumb idea since children ALWAYS have change and like change. She commented on how many people asked last year when they were going to start making some childrens wallets. When the CM's unpacked them this week, they were excited to finally see some...but now this...no place for change?????

The customer behind me heard our conversation and I notice that she put the wallet back that she had in her hand. Felt bad since I didn't want DS to loose sales...but...

Anyway, I did find a BEAUTIFUL princess wallet at Claire's. Even better than the one I returned. It was pink (soft velvet like) with the princess's, had diamonds, and pink beading for the handle with a princess name plate. Snaps shut at the top so it will hold dollars and coins. It is way to cute and now makes an excellent stocking stuffer. I decided to get $5 of disney dollars to put in it and wrapped it today...(yeah, I love to xmas shop early)

I went yesterday just to get more Disney dollars. I did pick up an Ariel camisole/underwear set for $4.99 and Peter Pan Light chaser for $5.99. The funny thing is my DH also went too (we didn't know the other one was going) and bought Disney dollars, 5 towels for $7.99 each, a Tink nightgown for me and three backpacks for the kids. I guess with 5 days to go he's FINALLY getting in the Disney mood!

I went today to ours, only ended up buying a zip jacket & $40 Disney Dollars. I would say that at least 1/3 of the store was empty, the racks completely clean. There were maybe 10 snowglobes left, a few shelves of mugs & picture frames. If they didn't have costumes & school stuff out I would have been worried they were closing.

I'm hoping to walk in there next week and see a ton of new stuff. So far it's just been the kids school, kids watches and a few keychains. Fingers are crossed!

i went yesterday to the ds and they had a sign that said" up to 75% off", they had adult t-shirt night shirts$5.99 plus a lot of t-shirts adults to children $5.99-$3.99. a very few snowglobes small size $1.99. stuffies $1.99, flip flops not to maney all size 9/10 for $1.99. no bathing suits, i was there last week and they had tons, i even thinking to myself i wonder if they will get rid of these,but they were gone. a few cover ups not terri cloth ones though, and halloween costumes lots of them. the princess bubble gun and a swimming shark $5.99.
i may go back get get these cute stuffie toy they look like icecream dishes with icecream fruit and a pooh charater or mickey and i think there was a couple of other charaters. $1.99.
these would be great for our christmas trip, we are having a contest all about disney and we need some prizes.

Glad you are all enjoying the Sale! It's about to wear me out, I must admit. Tonight's the big re-do, so if you're anxious for the new lines, tomorrow's the day! And some of it is SO cute! Can you tell I love my (second) job? ;)

Have a Magical Day!
