Disney Store Sale-- This week or next??

I tried the search function to find the thread that was here a few days ago but it's been disabled.

Does anyone know if the Disney Store is having any sales either this week or next?? I'm going to be out of town near one next week and am wondering what is on sale or clearance right now or will be in the next few weeks.

I thought I heard that the costumes were on sale and I was wondering if the shoes that come with them would be too??

Does anyone here know what kind of Cinderella shoes they have with the costumes?? I have the costume but am needing some shoes. Also would like to know what else is on sale right now. Thanks!!

I hope there is a good sale soon, too! I am having fun doing the $10 gift card with $50 purchase and pre-order. I am buying gifts for the holidays.

I doubt the costumes are going on sale before halloween. They are selling rapidly at the regular prices, and most stores are going to get the last shipments of halloween costumes and accessories next week. Some stores have sold out of 4/5 and 6/6x in some of the princesses already.

If you have a little one who's set on a particular costume, don't wait for a sale.

Target, Walmart and Party City, all carry the princesses costumes including shoes and accessories. Maybe you could get some of the "extras" elsewhere.

Disney Store last night and noticed that the store manager (Yes...we are on a first name basis!) and at least 6 staff members (when only 2 are usually working) were going over charts and paperwork from Disney on moving , adding and sending back merchandise, new displays, etc. So....I would bet there is some kind of big sale coming up. Last year, their costumes went on sale a few days before Halloween but they were very picked over and did not have many small sizes to choose from.

I purchased 3 costumes last Oct. at DS before Halloween at 50% off. True, there wasn't the size 10-12 left in every style princess dress, but my neice would have been happy with Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella or Belle. Belle was the only one left in her size. I picked up a Buzz costume in a size too big for my DS and a Deluxe Sleeping Beauty dress in the smallest size they made (took it in last year and have let it out for this year). DS can't wait to be Buzz at MNSSHP this year. DD still fits her dress. Along with getting 50% off of Belle's dress, I picked up the gloves and crown at half off as well. Presented these to DN9 on her very first trip to Disney last March to wear to CRT breakfast. She walked on clouds all morning and didn't take off the dress until we went back to the room to rest/swim around noon. Because the waist is stretchy and the hem length forgiving, she will be wearing her Belle costume for Halloween this year in her hometown, she also wore it for her 10th birthday party . If you are stuck on a certain style, don't wait, but you never know what you may find for next year.

Just purchased the Belle costume for DD a few days ago. They still were at full price (but since I had my $10 gift card from the movie pre-sell it came to $24.50). Several CM's told me that company wide the Belle costume was selling out quicker than all the others, and that the warehouse was completely out of stock.

I was at our DS today and the adult T-shirts were $12 (regularly $16.50)--I couldn't pass up the Grumpy T-shirt (The Dean of Mean)

Costumes in most limited quantity this year are : Jasmine, Pocahontas, Belle, and Mulan. Boys most limited : Power Rangers, regular Mickey, and Stitch.

Also going fast, Lilo and Little Mermaid.

It any of those are on your "list" I would run to your local store and grab them.

I am cryingl...I bought DD the deluxe cinderella and the cape. Now I see that online the dress is on sale. Boohoo, this always happns to me. I just wanted to make sure I got it before it sold out, but it looks like they have lots of them.

I still don't have the accessories. Maybe those will go on sale.

Do you have your receipt and are the tags still on the dress? Can it be returned? If so, I would order the dress online, and then return the full-price model (once the online dress is in hand, of course.)

Patmcduck Thanks for the info.I went today to get my dds costumes and they are sold out of the pocahantas boots in her size. Does anyone know if any NJ stores have a 13-1 pocahontas boot in stock?I checked Freehold, Monmouth, and Woodbridge already.

Today, I was in a Disney store in Detroit area and they had girls' denim princess jackets 50% off. Also, the new hooded princess sweaters on sale for $19.99. Select "Adventurers" stuff is 75%off. I got walkie talkies for $4.87 (regular $19.50)..Not bad in my book!

I asked about the Halloween costumes going on sale and the CM was very tight lipped.. I know they went on sale BEFORE Halloween last year. I hope they do again. FYI - they had tons of costumes left (somerset mall)
