Disney store returns

Wondering if I buy something online from the Disney store and it doesn't fit can I return it either a Disney store or can I just return it when down at Disney at the end of March?

I read that and was still a bit confused, that is why I ask. I just ended chatting with Guest Services and they told me I was good to go on a particular item if it did not fit right. It was a DVC item that could be purchased online, but could not be purchased on the app but could in the online store, hence my uncertainty.
