When buying passes at the local Disney Stores, so they charge local sales tax, or tax from Florida?
I thought I heard someone say at one time they charge Florida sales tax, but in Massachusetts, we are having a tax free day this Saturday.

Anything under $2500.00 is tax free, so I'm hoping the passes would also be tax free. Evrry little bit helps.

Sorry, but they charge the Florida sales tax. I bought my AP voucher at a Disney Store in Delaware, where there is never any sales tax. I still paid tax on the AP.

Unfortunately, what mad4themouse said is true.

I worked at TDS in NH for 11 years and guests always thought and kind of argued with me that the tickets should be tax free in NH. You get "entertained" in FL, so you pay the FL entertainment tax.

I think the Florida sales tax on passes is 6.5%. You'd pay the Florida sales tax no matter what state you purchased your passes from.
