Disney Store inside Target??

I overheard a woman talking about a Disney Store located inside Target in or near Orlando that has really good deals on Disney Items. Does anyone know which Target this would be?

I have never heard of a Disney Store inside target, but they do have a walmart, that has a HUGE selection of CHEAP disney tshirts cups items, etc, they are not disneyworld items. Some of the shirts are really cute. We always stop when we are in orlando.

Could she have said something laong the lines of "It's like a Disney Store inside of Target" ? Since I find ALOT of Disney items at my Target here in NJ.

I went to a brand new Target in Orlando last month that had a huge Disney department. They sold just about everything that a Disney store would sell from clothes to souveniers to towels. It was down the road from the Orange Lake Country Club which is located on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway. Very close to the Disney Maingate. I would assume this is what the person was talking about.

There is a Target that I go to down on 192 just past the intersection of 535 & 192 (Publix shopping center). If you are heading east on 192, it is on your left hand side, near Marshall's. There is a very large Disney section as other another poster has mentioned... but it isn't a Disney Store. Some people just call places that sell Disney items Disney Stores..

Yes, we went there in May looking for ponchos and clothes for the two weeks of rain There was a large section of Disney clothing and souvineers-- more than the Walmart had I believe. It was about 5 minutes from Pop Century.

Not sure we were at the same one as you, but it sounds like it because as you stated it was only about 5 min from POP. The one we were at was a Super Target. I personally was not impressed w/ the mds selection and quality and it said things like Florida (w/ Mickey Mouse on it instead of Walt Disney World.) I think you would do much better to visit the outlets than to go to the Target. It was a rather large dept though.

yep.. I thought they had much more than Walmart too.. and the store is brighter and cleaner looking...

Yes, it is a Super Target and no, you cannot compare their items to the items you will find in Disney it self. Yes, they do have Florida on many of the items but they do have a large selection. Wal-Mart's have the same "Florida" on them too. There are many people I guess that do want that on their things.. , me personally I don't since I live here. If you look though, you will find items that don't have it on them & they are much cheaper than Disney itself. But the over all best deals are found right in the Disney Outlets at the outlet malls... You get the real Disney items at the Target/Wal-Mart pricing...

99% of all Mickey/Disney items sold outside of Walt Disney World or in outlet stores will have Florida some where across it. 99% of all Disney items sold at Disney World will have it written or logo on the shirt some place.

I would personally visit the Outlet store just off of 535 by DTD, that's outdated merchandise that is no longer sold in the parks. Sometimes you'll find previous year merchandise, but Disney is good at slightly changing a design on some of it's clothing, and you'll find the older items there. It's all marked 50% off of the original retail price, and sometimes if there's really outdated merchandise they'll discount it even lower. We've snagged some really good deals from here.
But avoid the "disney outlet" store in the lake beuna vista shoppes, located on 535 just next to the 417 overpass, there's a VF factory outlet located near the road (which has some really good deals on regular clothes). That disney outlet place seems to get really really old merchandise from disney, and mostly in odd sizes, like a lot of xl or xxl. You might find one item cute or something, but don't waste your time going there. There are some good stores in that shopping center, but not good for tourist shopping. I like going to the VF store and there's a Borders outlet with lots of really good books on sale, and sometimes they have boxes full of 1$ books.

The publix on 535/192 even carries some tourist merchandise. But the Super Target on 192/535, just around the corner from publix, and the Super Target on the far west end of 192 by black lake road, sell "disney" merchandise.
Of course wal-mart at 192/27, 535/osceola pkwy, east 192 (next to medival times), they all sell "disney" merchandise.
And scattered here there and yonder are the crappy tourist trap gift shops.
