Disney Store in NYC

I honestly don't know what we are going to do. We are thinking of staying in Manhatten and will be driving from Toronto. I heard parking is very expensive in NYC - esp. if we want to park at hotel. Any suggestions and a great place to stay not far from Manhatten but won't cost us an arm and a leg to park? What do tourists do who are driving to NYC? Where do THEY park? Do they have public parking lots? Are there certain areas around Manhatten that we should avoid?

Very different! I was just there yesterday. No characters. But it also got us in the mood for our trip in 3 days! You can get stuff there that they sell in WDW. It's very awesome! We love it!
