Disney Store Demise Continues

Pass this on to your Disney friends: TDS is now carrying some adult apparel, a great selection of mugs (a tin one even!), some soda shoppe style glassses (think coke shaped) with Mickey on it, picture frames, toddler line of clothing with Mickey for boys, Minnie for girls, and the usual cute selection of Princess for girls and a nice selection of Power Ranger clothing for boys, even socks! and shoes! with Power Ranger. The things everyone claims to have loved are making a small comeback, so please, if you get to the mall, check out your local Disney Store.

This has been bought up numerous times on these boards, things regarding the Disney stores, and I will post the same answers that I did each previous time the subject came up. We always purchased adult merchandise at the regular price, and did not mind doing so because the DS had quality clothing back then. I have a dozen shirts that I purchased back in the early 90s and they are still in good condition, ie: no shrinking, no fading,no stretching out of the neck openings, etc. Problem is, they started to sell merchandise of a lesser quality, yet still charged premium price for not so premium merchandise. And that I will not pay. If I pay a high price, I excpect quality goods.


Planogirl: I remember in the "old" days, they had the adult clothing right up front.

jksluvdis: I'll go back and give it a shot. You say the quality is there. I hope so, because it hadn't been for a while. And I will pay top price for quality.
