So anyone know about when the prices on Disney costumes go down the lowest before Halloween? Last year I bought my DD7 an Alice costume after Halloween and I thought she would fit it by now. Well not only is it still huge on her, but now she is begging for a Jessie or Snow White costume. I don't think there will be Jessie available this year, but Snow White might be possible if they drop low enough.

Last year our disney store started at 25% off about a week before Halloween. Right after Halloween they went to 50% off. Right before Thanksgiving whatever was left was at 75% off.

Thanks. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do just 25% off, but if that's the best I can do I'll just have to deal.

I would definitely have a back-up plan if you're going to wait a week before Halloween. Depending on your daughter's size, they may be sold out. I've found that the 4-5-6-7 sizes go the fastest. I was waiting on an Ariel costume one year for my niece. I didn't need it for Halloween, but for WDW after Halloween. By the time the costumes got to 25% off, they were out of her size (5/6).

Snow White might be left, but Jessie would probably not be. Stores only have size 2/3 now, for the most part. It is hit or miss. Sometimes we run out of the "less" popular ones first, because they send us so few of them. Jessie is in the middle, we got a fair amount, but not enough for the demand.

Stores may not have them to sell after Halloween. Some are carried after as "role play", and stay full price, and some get sent to the outlets for the clearance sale.

They have been selling well this year at full price. We expect to sell alot when Beauty and the Beast some out, the presale comes with a great coupon, $10 off any purchase, or $20 off a $40 purchase. MANY parents will use that $20 coupon on costumes, a great deal if you are buying B&B DVD anyway. Movie out Oct 5, so good timing for costume purchase.

Good luck, I love seeing kids try on the costumes. I wish we had the Marvel line for boys, like they have online. Maybe next year.
