Disney Store Closing...again

Well the Disney Store in Altamonte Springs, Fl has closed.

I guess this adds to the list.

Ours in Natick MA closed last week without any real notice. I went in on the last day and everything was 75% off. Waited in line for about an hour to get thru registers. Lots of people with their kids. It was a zoo. They did say that they were re-opening in the nearby mall in October after Old Navy movedbigger location. Hope its true. In MA, we have lost a million stores.

Gee, I wonder if it has anything to do with how they changed their stores?

I used to spend lots of $ in each of our 2 local Disney stores (Albany, NY area) on a regular basis. That is until they closed one store and changed their format in the other. While there are kids that I could buy for occasionally, I don't even go in the store but maybe 4x a year. I want things for my home, my DH, my older kids, my car and for ME!! It's too bad there are so many closing down.

It's no wonder they are closing. The store in Indy that we go to has nothing for adults anymore. They changed the store a couple of years ago and now there is just no need to go to it unless you have small kids to buy for. I figure we spent $200.00+ a year in the store before this change and now we spend nothing..smjj

I used to go into the Disney stores just for my Disney fix. Listen to the music and almost feel as if you were there. However, now they are not much more than an overpriced toy store. I was in one over the weekend and they were not even playing music or running their ads on the screen-could not believe it. I really miss being able to buy stuff for myself and DH.
