Disney Store Cast Members

I have a question for anyone who works at the Disney Stores. My friend and I have heard through a couple of Disney Cast Members who do not work for the stores that the Disney Stores have been told NOT to hire former Disney Store Cast Members even if the person is re-hire status. Can someone verify this? Thanks.

You certainly won't get anyone to officially admit this because it would open them up for a major lawsuit! Any lawyer would love to get a document stating this so he could make his fortune and retire.

Wouldn't a lawyer or judge need more concrete information/proof than a posting on a discussion forum, especially with the topic heading titled: News and Rumors. My friend got the answer to the hiring question anyway. Have a magical day!

We've hired several ex Cast Members back, so I would say it is NOT true. I guess it would depend on your availablity, if there were openings etc etc.

Yes, as of May 1, 2008 the Disney Stores are back with the Walt Disney Company.
