Grand Marshal World Tours (15-day/14-night trip for 4 people, visiting Disneyland® Park, Disney's California Adventure® Park, Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, Disney-MGM Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, Disneyland® Resort Paris, Walt Disney Studios® Paris, Tokyo Disneyland® Resort, Tokyo Disney Sea® Park, and Hong Kong Disneyland® Resort).

I've been talking about doing this when I win the "set you up for life, never work again" lottery! I called it the Disney World Tour though...think I can go after them for stealing my idea?

Tell me about it!! Ever since I first learned about the apartment at the top of Cinderella Castle, I've dreamed about living there. Now, and suspiciously enough, some time after I posted my dream on the DIS (adding the detail that my best friend wants to live in the HM, and we would stretch a string with Dixie Cups to stay in touch), they're suddenly renovating that apartment so that people can stay overnight in the Year of a Million Dreams.

Any chance I can finagle a stay in the apartment as a royalty (har!) for the idea that they clearly borrowed from me?

:smooth:

I think we have a strong case! I posted my Disney World tour idea on the DIS a few months ago too! Maybe we should submit "entries" and say "Since this was my idea (insert idea and copy of original DIS post) then I should be a Dream Winner!

My DH was talking about a business trip last year to the far east and also UK, and I was trying to work it so that we could visit as many Disney places as possible, stop over in LA (Disneyland) on the way to Japan (Disneyland Tokyo), then quick stop in China (Disneyland Hong Kong) fly to UK (via Singapore to visit family) then flying back to US from Paris (Disneyland Paris) The only one I couldn't get in was WDW. It got very expensive!! He didn't have to travel in the end, I think maybe his wallet had an issue!! I would love that trip though.

ReggieB, you can do a trip like that on an alliance round-the-world ticket. Star Alliance can hit all those spots for about $3K!

For those dreaming of an affordable trip to Hong Kong, check this out:
".....a super-cheap package to Hong Kong priced from $789 plus taxes per person for travel from January 10 to February 8 and February 17 to March 10, 2007. It includes round-trip airfare from Los Angeles or San Francisco plus four-night accommodation at the Newton Inn North Point. Add $40 from New York, $70 from Chicago and $80 from Miami. Add to that the price of admission to Hong Kong Disneyland (a low $38 for adults and $27 for children) and train fare (approximately $3 for adults and $1.50 for kids on Hong Kong's MTR) and you have a pretty reasonable Disney vacation price in an exotic destination. This deal is available until October 5, 2006."

Count me in on the lawsuit! My mother and I have said for about 10 years we would do this if we ever won the lottery.
