Disney Stamps...

can you buy Disney stamps on property to mail postcards? or should I just purchase stamps at home and take them with me?

ooh I would love to know this too, I'm playing fairy godmailer and hope I can get them from the resort. I can't buy them before I go cos I live in the UK.

The last 2 times I went, I brought them with me for postcards (just to add that extra touch of magic). I also brought pre done "to" address labels for the postcards - made doing the postcards sooo easy!! For me, bringing all the stuff pre-done makes sure I actually send postcards... lol!

When I was at POP two weeks ago my daughter went to buy post card stamps at the gift shop. They did not have Disney stamps for post cards, only for regular mail. When I went a few days later for post card stamps they sold me regular stamps, not Disney ones. IMO if you want to be guaranteed Disney stamps buy them at home and take them with you.

oh now those sound like the kind of stamps i need to stock up on!! for the trip, for christmas, and the rest of the year!! Thanks for the info... I am checking my post office tomarrow!

When i went last week to get my pstcrd stamps the also had disney postcards, some of the nicest i have seen, they were 25 cents each, well worth it , thenyou affic the proper postage, they said 25 cents so I am thinking they are a little old, but were very nice ok as I look again they go with the 37 cent stamp release, but my kids still loved them!!

if this works.. here are pix's

I can have them addressed and stamped before I walk out the door....
they had 7 different ones and were decorated on both the front and back

These are so cute. I may have to go to a few different USPS offices, as the one I normally go to only has the Lion King ones left.


I asked the postmaster and she said the new Disney stamps come out tomorrow, time to stock up on new stamps!!

They are due to be released tomorrow, 8/16. There are also a set of pins that look just like the stamps, being released at EPCOT tomorrow as well. The stamp pin set is a set of 4 and I believe it sells for around $50. I have found that ordering the Disney stamps online is the way to go. My post office either has run out or doesn't have them by the time I get there. They are not up for sale on the www.usps.com website yet, but I think they will be tomorrow.

i really like the idea of buying the postcards before you go and having them all made out and ready.... sometimes just taking the time out to fill them out can be really dificult (for me). thanks for the pics!

I've seen the stamps on usps, I went to buy them this morning but it won't let me,, everytime I put my UK address in, I keep getting an error message, so I tried putting POP's address in, but it won't let me put hold for guest in the address or name lines, guess I will just have to get the ordinary stamps once I'm there

Woo hoo,,, there must have been a glitch on the system this morning, because I have just tried again and my sale went through!!!
Couldn't get them sent to POP, but they are being sent global priority so hopefully they will get here before I leave :

Hiya Traci... if you are driving the P.O. behind Goodings at the end of Lake Buenavista Drive near DTD they always carry Disney Stamps and Post cards and was even lucky to buy the pins and bags there too last June for the last Disney Issue. I'll check the P.O. tomorrow if I can get them maybe I can mail it from here to Fl for you if you really need some!!!
