by the way when did they change Downtown Disney to Disney Springs?
DH and I are planning a meal here before we meet the rest of the family. What's your suggestion?

Depends on the category: Quick Service, Single Credit, or Signature. These days it's a tough call for all three. Quick
Service: D-Luxe Burger, Puck"s Express, Blaze Pizza, Cooke's of Dublin, Morimoto, Polite Pig. Single credit: Homecomin', Morimoto lunch, Raglan Road, Splitsville. Signature: The Boathouse, STK.

I've always enjoyed Planet Hollywood. It's hit-or-miss depending on who you ask, I see plenty of families there during the day. When I lived in Orlando it was a tradition at least once a month to go there with my girlfriend, we enjoyed the atmosphere more than anything. Movie memorabilia, a giant projection screen and sing-alongs with the whole building.

Trex, EOS, WFPE but we have ADR for Homecoming in Sept and I get the feeling that will become a favorite as well

There are so many delicious choices now! My favorites are The Boathouse - sitting out at the dockside bar and watching the boats is heaven (weather permitting) -menu is steak and seafood and we've never had a bad meal. Also like Homecomin', as suggested above - delicious cocktails and fried chicken. Lastly we really love Raglan Road - an Irish pub with live music and Irish step dancing at night. It can be loud but really fun. Note that Boathouse and Raglan Road accept dining reservations through Open Table that aren't subject to the credit card guarantee and 24 hr cancellation policy you get through the Disney site. Also I've found that sometimes there is more availability on Open Table. Check out the menus and go with what looks best. I don't think you can go wrong.

Boathouse and Homecomin' are our two favorites. We always sit at the bar out on the water at Boathouse and get a few drinks and split appetizers. Homecomin' has AMAZING food.

I think Disney Springs has really upped its game, re: awesome food. Can't go wrong with Frontera Cucina, Homecomin', or Morimoto (get the ribs, they're insane). Good vibes in each of those places too.

Good news is there are so many options you really can't go wrong. Homecoming is unquestionably our favorite, but we've also loved Morimotos, The Boathouse, and Raglan Road. I'd just see what appeals to you the most menu wise and let your tastebuds do the picking!

Raglan Road. There are new ones I'd like to try, but we usually only go to DS once a trip and I can't give up my Raglan Road dinner.

Our favorite so far is The Boathouse, but we're looking forward to trying Homecomin' and Frontera Cocina on our next trip.

We did love Wolfgang Pucks Dining room for the food but it closed. For the theme and food, we love LOVE T-Rex! Meteor Meatloaf is so yummy! Steaks are good too!

DS's schedules have forced a unfortunate break in our WDW trips so we haven't tried may of the new places. However on our long awaited 10th trip next month we'll be trying several new places as well as returning to Raglan Road which we never miss. We always rent a car so heading over to DS after the parks is easy for us. :)

Homecomin is our favorite. Raglan road and Boathouse are a close second. Really wish disney parks could get some of these restaurants from disney springs.

We've liked Boathouse and Raglan Road for TS. WPE, Blaze and D-luxe Burgers for CS. Also enjoy Jock Lindsey Hanger bar for a cocktail and app. Love gelato at Vivoli il Gelato!

We love Morimoto, such a beautiful restaurant with really great food. We also love eating outside at the Boathouse. Homecomin' is also a great choice, so much really yummy food. Another shout out for Ragland Road if your looking for great food with entertainment.

I could eat every meal at Disney Springs while we're in the World and still have so many more things I have on my plan to eat menu. They've really upped their game on quality and food choices.

So far Sprinkle's(;)), Earl of Sandwich, Pizza Ponte, and Boathouse are places we'd return to in a nanosecond.
Trying Morimoto Asia this trip . Have heard good of it and it's menu reads well. Wondering when (and if) Wolfgang Puck's spot will re-open.

Was underwhelmed at Frontera Cocina but it does seem to be a favorite of families as we saw many multi generational groups there. Don't think this is Mr. Bayless' finest branding moment but I'll give him the opportunity to redeem himself in Chicago because yanno I'm sure he cares what I think, LOL.
