Disney Springs or Boardwalk ADR for Memorial Day evening?

Trying to decide which the better location for an ADR would be. We're planning a night off from the parks on our first day (second night), which also happens to be Memorial Day. Disney Springs obviously has more things to do - but would Boardwalk be a better choice for such a busy time of year if we don't want to be battling crazy crowds all evening (I'm prepared for it being busy, but would prefer to avoid that next level where even walking from one place to another is difficult, if you know what I mean!).

If it makes a difference, we're two adults but will probably be jetlagged (coming from UK) so I can't see us staying out too late to experience much nightlife (like Jellyrolls), much as I'd love to.

It sounds like you'd rather a short & relaxing night. For that reason I'd recommend Boardwalk to cut down on your travel. You are correct though, DS has more to do/see if you want to linger for more time & don't mind waiting for the travel back to your hotel.
