Disney Springs Help

Trying to book a new restaurant and have been looking at menus. What are your thoughts on:

House Of Blues-Never been here. Is there music? Is it loud? We would be dining around 6:00 or so.

Portabello Italian-Can't seem to find a reservation for this. Is it that good?

Planet Hollywood-Seems like the re-did the whole menu. Always stayed away from this place, but am starting to reconsider.

Paradiso 37-Have not heard much about this place but the menu looked interesting.

House of Blues is fantastic. The Shrimp & grits are great! There is music, but do not recall timing. There is an outdoor dining area, and I think this is the music venue as opposed to the indoors. You will love it.

Thanks for the info. We have been to Raglan Road and want to try something we have never been to before. Now I am torn between House of Blues and Paradiso 37. Is the atmosphere at either of these good for kids or are they more upscale?

House of Blues is one of my favorites and it is not upscale at all...kind of like a TGI Fridays.

For me, House of Blues and Planet Hollywood aren't places I would choose because you can find these restaurants in other locations. I try to pick places that are a bit different and unique to WDW.

Same for me. I can eat at HOB here in Cleveland if I want to. We ate at Portabello's on our honeymoon and it was AMAZING. We both loved it. But that was 15 years ago and so much could have changed in 15 years.

Portabellos is not available for some reason. Is it always crowded. Did not know HOB was a chain. I'll have to think about this.

Planet Hollywood is a chain too, albeit with not so many locations. We've done Raglan Rd. at Disney Springs and it was fine, not my favorite. I think this time since it's just DH & I we're going to do Morimoto's.
