Sorry, not sure where else to ask this - we haven't been since it was called Downtown Disney, figured we should go for lunch on a non-park day this trip. I've read reports of major crowding, and I know no one can say for sure, but is it likely to be on the less crowded side around noon on a weekday? We're going in July.

There are soooo many great places to eat at DS and at different price points too. No “captive“ audience there so the standard of quality is better than many places in the parks. Just follow your senses as to what you want to eat. Our favorite hotel is on the lake off EPCOT so we eat at DS frequently. Never noted serious crowding besides the winter holidays when everything is crowded. I would think lunchtime on a weekday would be less congested. DS is a good spot to eat at should you hit the water parks in the morning or for departure day.

Have fun!

We eat at Springs basically every day of our trip. Lunch-Early dinner is always great there. It's really not until "normal" dinner time into later evening on weekends that it starts to get a little crazier.

Just had a fantastic lunch at the Boathouse today - sat outside next to the water, (may be a little too warm in July). Everything was delicious - Coconut shrimp, crab cake, filet sliders, and they have an oyster bar if you like those. We were there at 11:15 for an 11:45 reservation - stopped by early to request outside - they were able to seat us right away, food was delicious!

Are you looking for CS or TS or are you open to both.

I'd say a weekday at noon is your best bet to enjoy Disney Springs. Lot of great spots there. Before the most recent rules change, Disney Springs had a reputation for less compliance with and less enforcement of the mask rules in public areas. Also, they don't utilize park passes so don't really limit attendance other than the availability of garages for those using personal vehicles .... but Disney transpo, ride shares, walkers, can bring unlimited people. Mid-day during the week would be my choice if concerned about crowds.

It was fine with modest crowds, up until about 9pm, it got' pretty packed at that point. We love Polite Pig, Earl of Sandwich, Blaze Pizza, D-Luxe Burger and the Chicken Guy (for casual lunches). Homecoming and Raglan Road for a nicer dinner.

Open to anything. I'm pretty sure the only places we've been that are still open are Boathouse, Raglan Road, and I think waaaay back in the day we went to Rainforest Cafe. Would like to try a couple new places.

Our favourite for a restaurant between QS and TS is Wolfgang Puck Express but unfortunately it appears to be closed.

For lunch I would recommend Homecomin' for TS and either Cooks of Dublin or Earl of Sandwich for QS.
