Disney Springs Drone show for the holidays?

Last year we saw the drone show over Disney springs during our trip after Thanksgiving. I am wondering if they will be doing it again for the holidays this year? Has anyone heard?

At this time I would not expect it to happen. As far as I know it was a one time thing done by Disney and Intel to showcase the technology for future projects.

I may be in the minority, but I was not impressed with the tree trail last year. I was reminded of an old contest at an insurance company in a past life where each department decorated a wreath and they were all displayed in one place, so there's a wreath for underwriting, and another for auditing, and another for claims, and billing, etc.

Those were the sentiments of many guests last year.
It's the reason for the "new and improved" version they are promoting this year.

I think the problem was partly due to the size of the trees. If they were all taller and arranged closer together making it like a Christmas forest, I may have liked it better. And the trees needed more tree lights and less overhead lighting or spot lights.

Where can I find the DS holiday map? I couldn’t find it....

Update-I did find lots of info about the holidays at DS but I haven’t found an actual map.
