Disney Springs boat question

Somewhat related to this thread. We're heading down in September and hopefully the Sassagoula boats are running again. We were planning to do a DS day and while in the area I want to swing by the Lake Buena Vista golf pro shop and my wife wants to go to Port Orleans for beignets. We haven't made this jaunt before so I'm hoping someone can clarify if the ferry stops at the resorts along the route like the friendship boats or does each resort have a designated non-stop trip to and from DS. Ideally I'd like to stop at Saratoga and then go from there to Port Orleans but it looks like we will have to return to DS between the resorts if I understand correctly?

You will have to return to the boat launch at DS and get in the Port Orleans line. There are separate lines for PO, SSR and OKW.

If I remember correctly, only the Marketplace dock is currently being used.

Thanks. That was my concern. On our arrival day, we should get to POR around 5pm and will likely have dinner somewhere at DS. So that eliminates all the places in the West Side if we have to get off the boat at (and then return to) the Marketplace.

Disney is not doing those establishments any favors by not using all 3 docks. It was also a big mistake for them to replace the 3 bus stops with the single one. Although, it was clear why they did that...to force everyone who comes off the buses to walk through the "mall".
