Disney Springs - Appetizer Crawl?

We are looking at being at Disney Springs on St. Pattys day. Instead of having dinner at one place we thought of having an appetizer crawl (like a bar crawl) The thought was that we could go to 3-4 places and order a drink and appetizer at the bar and move on. A couple of questions in planning this:

1. Will St. Pattys day be too crowded to try this out?
2. If we can do it, which places serve appetizers at the bar without a silly long wait? I know we had appetizers at Paradiso at the bar and also at Rainforest?
3. What places and what appetizer is recommended? I know to start with Paradiso and the corn with melted cheese but after that I's like some thoughts

Thanks

Love a good appetizer crawl. We've done it around the monorail resorts, but not in DTD so not a ton of help there. I think you may encounter a bit of crowds on St. Patty's day and definitely need to stay away from Raglan Road (which otherwise I would have recommended for a stop and some of their fried sausages). As the other poster said, Boathouse has a bar as does Woflgang Puck cafe, all be it small. Jock Lindsey's and Bognos are other possible options.

St Patty's is on a Thursday this year. Even thou its during the week you can expect it to be crowded, not only with tourist, but a lot of locals, like me will head over to enjoy St' Patty's day.

The food trucks would work out great for your "appetizer crawl". The lines do get long, but move quickly so you can get something in a reasonable amount of time. I have noticed in the past couple of weeks, they are putting out some beverage carts, with a fair selection of adult beverages. Now this is on the weekend, but I would think that Disney would have this up for major holidays.

You might want to mix up some food truck offerings and try a couple of restaurants at the bar, or even making a ADR somewhere and just ordering appetizers, so you have a place to get out of the throng of people and sit down. You could make it for later on the evening, so that you can get some food to soak up the adult beverages, so no hang over the next day.

You also could do this at the boardwalk, with all the resorts Yacht & Beach club, Swan & Dolphin, Boardwalk inn, with bars and restaurants, ESPN, Big River, and if you time it just right you could see some of the fire works from Epcot on the bridges.

Another thought is that you could do the monorail resorts, and check out the resorts, and watch fireworks from the beach at the Poly. DH and I have done this several times and its very enjoyable and relaxing.

Have a fun St. Patty's day.

Awesome idea! We are kind of hoping to do the same but more along the lines of drinks with dinner at Raglan Road. So far we have planned to try the Boathouse, Jock Lindsey's, and possibly Morimoto's bar.
