Hey Disneylander here and first time out east! I’m out here until December for training and have a week stay planned in November. I wanted to see Happily ever after before it goes away for the 50th show. I’m thinking I’ll go watch it from the beach at poly and wanted to make a Disney springs/ resort hopping day out of it. Any suggestions or tips?

If you can, grab breakfast at Poly (Kona Cafe or Capt. Cooks) and order Tonga Toast. Kona Cafe serves it with with strawberry sauce. It's my favorite breakfast on property, and has quite the cult following.

Grand Floridian is beautiful at night and has a pianist in the main lobby.

If you're interested in drinking, Enchanted Rose at Grand Floridian has an upscale vibe, while Trader Sam's at Poly has some interesting special effects when you order drinks.

I'd start my day at Poly and return there in the afternoon for Trader Sam's, followed by fireworks and Dole Whip on the beach.

Enjoy!

Thanks! Should I park at Disney springs and take a bus over? Or make a reservation at a restaurant or mobile order at the time we head over to the resort by car? Newbie here haha

I never got the thing about Tonga Toast, way to greasy. Besides the Macadamia nut pancakes are way more desirable imo. :)

If you make a reservation at Kona you can park at Poly - depends on how you want to spend your day but you can hit all the MK (WL & FW inccluded) resorts and that would take a good chunk of time exploring.

Are you more interested in starting at Disney Springs?

I am not sure when they start running buses from Disney Springs to the Hotels Depending on when you are planning on arriving may have an impact. If the buses are not running when you arrive at Disney Springs one option would take a Uber to one of the Boardwalk area hotels, and then take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and start resort hopping.

The thing about ADR at one of the hotels, technically there is a time limit you are allowed to park at the resort.

If you have an ADR at a specific hotel, you have 3 hours of parking.
