hey everyone,

my family is staying at the coronado this year, and we leave in a week from friday. while we're very excited about trying out a new resort, but we absolutely love the boardwalk/yacht/beach club's pool. if you are staying at one resort, can you use other resort's pools? any feedback would be appreciated!

also, has anyone stayed at the coronado? any tips, or things i should look for?

THANKS:)

oh okay! thanks- I've been to Disney a ton if times, but never "pool hopped" and I was just curious!

thanks!

anyone have Coronado tips?:)

You might want to post a new thread over on the resorts board if you want tips about Coronado. Threads have been blowing up left and right lately and this topic is one that can be highly explosive.

I've noticed that too. What is up with that? :confused3

To the OP, yeah, sorry, no pool hopping... I haven't been to the Coronado, but I have read great things about it, so you will have an awesome time, to be sure! :goodvibes

Pool hopping has always been a delicate subject around here. The rules are pretty clear, but still, people feel the need to debate. Hence, the sticky at the top of the Resort forum that I referenced above. It was kind of meant to squash all the arguing for the future before it even got started.

To the OP: If you re-post your question (as noted by LockShockBarrel), without the pool comments, on the Resort forum, you'll probably get all the information you can handle. Also if you check out the Coronado Springs FAQ thread here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2338336&highlight=coronado+faq I'm sure you'll find a world of information that will be useful to you! :goodvibes

We stayed at Coronado Springs last year with our 3 kids (10, 5, and almost 3 at the time) and absolutely loved it.

The theming was what originally appealed to us. The resort has a relaxed atmosphere (a significant difference from the values) and it's also the only moderate that has queen sized beds. My kids loved the pool and playground area. We spent more time enjoying the resort than we ever had before.

I'm sure there are tons of pictures on the resort board, but I also took many-- pool slide, playground, bus stop, etc-- if you're interested (althought they mostly all have my kids in them if you don't mind :upsidedow )

thanks so much everyone...i will definitely take your tips/suggestions into consideration!

disney in t minus....8 days! :D

we all pay money to go on vacation how come only some of us can pool hop?

Some of us pay a lot more than others :lmao:....just one of the perks of being a DVC member.

And besides, if "everyone" could pool hop, think how crowded the pools at the deluxe resorts would be.

How about we just stop it right here? The OP's question was answered so can we please maybe have one board on here that doesn't turn into a knock down blow out fight? It may not be anyone that's posted but its coming and we all know it.

I've never stayed at the CSR, but i've always thought it looked very nice. Will you be doing a TR or anything when you get back? I'd love to see some pictures.
