Thanks for sharing. I bet my DD would love these. I just reserved 3 sing along DVDs at the library.

Yes...a lot of them! Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Captain Hook, Peter Pan,
Ariel and I'm sure some others. It really is fun! :)

OMG, I just had to respond to this thread...as I type this, here is what is in the background:

"Singin' ah ooh zabba doo welly-jelly set your name free..." LOL!

My kids love the beach one the best--they are all huge hits in our house. You can also get them from Netflix.

My kids LOVE this one! I find it so annoying.. but what are you gonna do ;)

We had one of those sing a long tapes, I loved it so much. I would put it on when the kids were gone. I cant remember the name of the tape but it had the song Walkin' Down The Middle of MainStreet USA. We sing this song every time we are at disney...love, love, love it

I'm curious which tape this is on- does anyone know?

guess whiuch one is playing at our house RIGHT NOW!!!!!

My girls can sing Pearly Shells and do the dance pretty well. I brought them hula skirts from Hawaii and they put them on when it is playing.

We have almost all the original videos- back from when ds now 18yo watched them over and over and over- actually a few we started watching when my nephew was little and so that would be more than 21 years ago.

We started getting the ones available on DVD- for our ds 2 and he adores them- he will scream when he sees the characters and actually when he sees the opening credits and will watch those for a long long time lol

they are great- I hadn't seen the beach one yet though- not sure how we managed to miss that one

When we were there last year and I was with DD5 waiting for the rest of the family to join us on Main Street, the trolley came down and the people jumped off and started singing this (along with a lot of other songs). My daughter was in heaven!! We have watched these tapes so much over the last several years that I am surprised we have not worn them out.

The Disneyland Fun one is how I got my 3.5 year olds excited and familiar with Disney and the size of the characters. That was 12 years ago. Now I have a 3 year old who is growing up with the same one (only dvd not video these days).

I wish they would make one just like that one but in WDW.
Sorry, first post with pictures. DD put them in for me. Now, I must have her resize them!!!!

SAME EXACT THING HERE! My DD is really expecting this on our next trip...Just like she thinks Bear will show up for breakfast here one morning.
:wave2:

Exactly! I got the Disneyland Fun one for 50 cents at a yard sale for my 3 year old and she loves it. She talked about riding the teacups with Alice, which Alice did ride them at the Little Ones Magic Hour but DD was too shy and also I thought a little young to ride them with her.

AUGHH!!! you guys are making me want to open it right now and watch it with the kids!!!

Good things come to those who wait..... :)

Thanks so much for the recommendation. I just bought Beach party, the Animal Kingdom one, and Disneyland Fun on EBay!! I've been trying to come up with ways to familiarize DS2 with Disney so he'll recognize things on our next trip and these sound perfect. I have a question though. Some people have said their kids watched these 20 years ago. Was the Disneyland Fun redone when they put it on DVD? That's probably a dumb question. Lots has changed in 20 years...

Anyway, I'm so excited, thanks!

We just found the Camp one at Goodwill for fifty cents! The kids watched it twice in a row :)

To Addicted@TheMouse:

The video and DVD versions of Disneyland Fun are exactly the same.

We had been watching the video version and I saw the DVD "Special 50th Anniversary" edition available at Blockbuster so I rented it, thinking it was different. NOT! It was made when Roger Rabbit was a big deal, so he's featured in the video.

The Haunted Mansion part is a bit scary for my DD3-- we alway have to fast forward.

And the rides/locales are similar enough between Disneyland and WDW that the video can still get your little one familiar with the sights.

These videos don't seem too dated. Just the clothing. :) Love that LOUD 80's clothing!

Does anyone know if we can buy the "Happy Haunting" one at Target or Walmart? We leave in 2 days and that would be a great one to watch on the plane! :)
