We love the Disney Sing Along Videos, especially the ones with live children in them, like Beach Party, Flick, Fun at Disneyland, Camping, even the Halloween and Very Merry Christmas ones. My kids have watched them over and over and over again, and now that my 4yo is watching them in anticipation for an upcomin WDW trip, even my older ones are joining in and reminiscing. They've got to be popular, because I still see them in Toys R Us, and the Disney stores, and rentals like Blockbuster. Does anyone else wish they would make some new ones? I would especially love to see one involving EPCOT, perhaps with a theme involoving the World Showcase.
Just passing along my thoughts on that because we love them so much!

OMG...I picked up the Disneyland Fun DVD a couple of months ago and my 2 yo DD is OBSESSED with it. Of course, she insists that both she and I wear our mouse ears while watching. I think that she would watch it all day long if I would let her. I broke down and bought the Animal Kingdom and Camping DVDs because I thought that I was going to lose it if I had to watch the Disneyland Fun DVD one more time.

I hear ya! My DD 3 and DS 1 are obsessed! DD watched it twice on the long drive home today.

I need some new songs in my head.

DD sings "Jolly Holiday" every single time she washes her hands. Do you know how often a 3 year old washes their hands????? :rotfl2: Let's just say if they are auditioning kids for the role of Burt or Mary Poppins, she wins (clean) hands down. LOL!

I loved the Disneyland Fun one when I was a kid, and now I have my 2 yr old hooked on all the WDW ones- she especially loves the Animal Kingdom one and loves to follow along with the dances. She's always asking to watch "boom boom", as they say in the dinosaur song!

Disneyland fun is the best. We showed it to DS so he knows what to epect at the parks. My kids love it. Also the Beach party with the waterparks is good too. We have never seen the camping one or the AK one. I'll have to check out the movie club and see if they have it.

They still sell them? I need to get some for my niece. We had a full set, but my mom gave them away when my girls got older...

Schmeck, yes, they do still sell them. I've seen them in Toys R Us and The Disney Stores. They might even have them at other places, I just haven't noticed...(on line I'm sure too!)

We have the Disneyland Fun, Animal Kingdom and Beach Party. The Campout is put away for b-day or Christmas and I have the Halloween DVD preordered. Can you tell DD loves them. :cool1: What is the Holiday one? Is it not on DVD yet? I got some on Amazon. When you sign up for their credit card you get a credit on your first purchase so I got 3 of them this way. :thumbsup2

OMG, I just had to respond to this thread...as I type this, here is what is in the background:

"Singin' ah ooh zabba doo welly-jelly set your name free..." LOL!

My kids love the beach one the best--they are all huge hits in our house. You can also get them from Netflix.

Look for them too at yard sales and consignment sales. I got the Animal Kingdom one for 25 cents!!!

My DD3 must watch the Campout video during her weekly visits to Grandma's house (sometimes twice!). Obsessed!

She also likes the Beach Party and Disneyland Fun-- although the Haunted Mansion scene totally scares her.

I think she has a crush on Toby with his wavy hair. :rotfl2: He's in both the Camping and Beach Party sing-a-longs.

I wish they'd make some new ones too-- these are so much better than the Princess ones that were recently released.

I think the holiday one is called "Very Merry Christmas" (It is packed away with all my Christmas stuff, otherwise I would look for sure!)
I don't think it is available right now, as I ordered it off of amazon (from the "not in publication" (preowned) section...but it was brand new never opened). Maybe if the are releasing the Halloween one on DVD, that one will follow. I hope so because the tape quality on my holiday one is not good. (It is a little garbled.)
But obviously these are still very popular and I really wish they would make a new one!

We love Toby with the wavy hair too! (Don't you wonder how they casted those kids? They are all too cute!)

My kids have all enjoyed these, and we have just introduced these videos to our 1 year old in preparation for our next trip. They really are cute videos. We also have a circus one, and it is probably dd6 fav one. It actually is quite entertaining...even when you have seen it 100 times :-)

The only downside is DD2 watched the Disneyland one where all the characters sing in the Magic Kingdom, and expected to get to ride with Mickey and friends.

It took a lot of creative 'fibbing' to keep her from not having a meltdown when Mickey couldn't ride Dumbo with her at MK. :rolleyes1

We had one of those sing a long tapes, I loved it so much. I would put it on when the kids were gone. I cant remember the name of the tape but it had the song Walkin' Down The Middle of MainStreet USA. We sing this song every time we are at disney...love, love, love it

SAME EXACT THING HERE! My DD is really expecting this on our next trip...Just like she thinks Bear will show up for breakfast here one morning.
